Ambiente sossegado - This is a really beautiful pension. The family does a fantastic job keeping it in pristine condition. The location is great for drivers. We liked a lot the location of the hotel. They were kind enough to provide us with a castle/river view room (number 2) which was very spacious and with very confortable beds and pillows. The shower pressure was perfect and the room was well equipped. The view from the room was indeed very romantique. -

There is a discount for guests at the adjoining restaurant which was a nice albeit a bit pricey restaurant. There's air cond but you will have have to ask for the controller from the reception. -

Everything, from the outside it does not look that special, but appearances can be deceiving. Inside it is wonderful, really well planned with great touches. Lovely whirlpool bath and great fittings in the loo. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good and the location is great for the city, as long as you don't mind a few steps (80) to the town. There is a slightly longer route without steps if required. However the city is wonderful and worth the short walk.
