I had a wonderful time in Dubrovnik Croatia having chosen Nenada apartments as my accommodation! It is a worthwhile experience because of a very lovely, kindhearted landlady, generous offering me a beer soon as i arrived and showed me directions to places to go. Very sweet always greeted me with a smile. her place is very nice , a very good view of the city from her veranda, clean place complete with most basic household equipment. Owner is very accomodating and even served local beer which i enjoyed so much! her place is clean and nicely made with a good view of the pier and the open sea. The walk down the hill was perfect because I was able to take pictures of a lovely site. Other visitors from the big hotel were complaining of not having drinking water in their rooms. Nenada provided potable water which often became tea or coffee because there is a kitchen equipped for cooking.
very affortdable rates,sweet, generous . My landlady was very accommodating. She helped me around even mapping out places to go, driving to the bus stop for the first time and always looking out for what i may need. Her place is very clean with a well equipped kitchen so much like home. There is a good view from her apartment and walk uphill to her place is breathtaking with a superb view of the city. One actually gets a feel of how the locals go about their daily lives. superb place, good host, convenient for a trip to the old city and also to the sea.Taxi or car would be needed to get to the place but worth it. with busses or you can do walking if you just study the map and take time to exercise. ha ha ha! worth the learning and stretching for a newcomer. . I din't know croatian so I didn't know "soba" meant apartment. so I went looking for one aith the name Nenada. Finally found the place when I realized the alley leading to the apartment having an address 27 Klisevska is the right one because it came after another alley marked no. 25. I wonder if putting up a sign was disallowed!. When with a luggage, one has to a hire a taxi. Although, the landlady offered a ride and brought me all the way to my bus. People were not as helpful for directions, either they don't know Kliseveka or they refuse to say anything unless you buy from their store. Best is ask the post office where you can also have currency ezchanges.
