Set amidst Yueliangshan’s scenic area, Mountain View Retreat features courtyard-style accommodation with traditional Asian architecture and decor. Mountain View Retreat is a 2-minute walk from Moon Hill and Big Banyan Tree, a 3-minute walk from Assembling Dragon Cave and a 10-minute walk from Yulong River or West Street. Li River is about 40 minutes' drive away.

The room was really spacious, and we had a king sized bed which is always nice! Staff were also very friendly and helpful - we booked all our tours through them. The resort is a little out of town (which is really nice) and you can either catch a bus, cycle or taxi (aud 5-6). It is also near a bunch of tourist attractions. Food at their restaurant was also great. The hotel is outside Yangshuo but very close to Moon Hill attraction, caves. Hotel rent bikes and you can do a bike trip starting from the hotel. Hotel could provide a guide to do this. Staff speak english and convenient to give touristic informations and call taxi free wifi Room typically chinese style ; good food (western or chinese).
todos opiniões » We loved this hotel, set in the mountains. Make sure you choose the room with a balcony, it's beautiful! Staff are friendly and the good is great. Very close to moon hill, water caves and bamboo rafting. Staff and location were excellent. Friendly, English speaking staff were very organized. The bathtub in the honeymoon suite was great!. the kindness and availability of the personnel to gives us tips to make our visits around.The location to start the cycling tours. Away form noise, traffic of downtown Yangshuo, very good setting in country; for bike, rafting, caves, etc. It was a good position and it was easy to get to town. The mountain view retreat was right on the main road so easy to get a cab or ride to the waterfall or river, was a bit out of town, so it really depends on what you are after in Yangshuo - was great for us. The food in the dodgy restaurant was actually pretty good - expecially compared to some of the chinese meals we had while away. The location is quite good! But not the best. Nothing. You have to take a taxi to go to yangshuo to organise trip for Xingping or others attractions as cormoran fishing butnot too expensive (30 rmb from the hotel). Our hot water stopped working twice which was a bit inconvenient. toilets are in the bedroom, a bit far from town center. No complaints; 4th time to Yangshuo; First visit to this property. The rooms had mould on the ceilings. The bathroom smelled and our plug in bath did not work. We asked 3 times to have fixed. There were mosquitoes in the room every night and our children were bitten on arms, legs and face. James was helpful but seemed to be always asking for money for tickets to this and this and this. Was very run down, first room they tried to give us was adjoining with a lounge in the middle. Would have been ok, but the A/c shorted out the power and the front door fell off before we even got the bags in. They moved us to nice rooms - just not interconnecting, (which we specifically request because of our 3 children aged 12, 10 and 4) but we had that problem in lots of places, so just learned to put up with it.. Its dirty, the rooms are dark, I found a big spyder in my room! In was rainy and the water was inside my room! The breakfast was poor!.
