I cannot say enough good things about this hostel. Stayed in a double room which was a hotel room, not a hostel. Super clean, good beds, I even think the floors were heated. The staff is excellent, went out of their way to help us with planning and transportation. The location is excellent, easy walk or short bus ride to all the sites. Common space was cozy and it is probably even better in the summer since they have an amazing rooftop. You will not be disappointed.

A great backpacker haven (a welcoming bar area with wifi serving beer on tap, hookahs, and western food) that also provides the comforts and cleanliness of a no frills budget hotel. Location is very central within 15 minutes walking distance to the Bell Tower, subway station, and Muslim Quarter. The staff helped plan our Xi'an visit, while a lot of travel info is also posted in the common areas by the staff previous guests.

This place exceeded my expectations in almost every aspect. It is located within the city wall so it is convenient to walk to some of the tourist places. The staff was naturally friendly and helpful. There are two receptionist. One a bit impatient but another one is
superb! She even helped us hail the taxi to airport while we were busy
with our luggage. We won't get this kind of help in other places.
Location near to bus stand, pharmacy and local store. Clean room and

Everything in the room was fine, i didn't try the bar - restaurant ( and actually i wouldn't understand those who eat at the hotel when the muslim street is so close ! )
Walking distance to Bell / Drum towers and muslim street. Good rganized trips ( even though you pay them like 500 rmb when the ones for chinese people are 50 rmb )

The hotel is very neat and the atmosphere is great. Personal speaks a good English and if helpful to everyone. from the start (before my arrival). Prices were fair (they did not rip
you off with towel rental, pick-up service or to wash clothes, like
other places I've seen in China) and the place was very easily
accessible to the train station and the downtown area - just a few
minutes walking. Excellent location and value for the money. Highly
recommended!

Staff was nice, and very helpfull.
The room was in the basement; actually this is not really a problem, since the room has a window to the corridor (during the night the light in the corridor is red, giving the filling of city night lights). The corridor looks like a typical chinese street, with roofs and everything.
