Staff was helpful. Even though I booked the wrong date (1 day later), staff on duty was able to adjust the date for me at the same rate that I booked. No problem with asking for directions. Location was super good. Hotel was within walking distance to quite a number of places I wanted to visit. A mini market, fruit stall, small boutique, restaurants beside the hotel. Opposite the hotel was a restaurant offering very nice porridge and eggplant dishes.

Room could have been a bit bigger for more luggage and walking space. I paid for the room with a window that opens to the outside and it turned out ok but I also checked out those basement rooms and luckily, I didn't book those cos there was a damp smell which I didn't like so I was lucky to have the window room although it was slightly more expensive [basement rooms are cheaper].

Staff were very friendly and helpful. They had good English. Room was clean and the location was great.

Centrally located affordable new hotel. Rooms in the basement fully insulated from outside. Quiet (except internal noise...) and dark.

Noisy rooms and staff talking loudly in the hallway in early morning so you will wake up early.....

Most tourist spot and shopping centre is near mrt station. Super 8 hotel about 150meter from Dengshikou station. Food easily available across the street. Transport to airport can be arrange. Some facilities are available only on request like hairdryer,tea sacket.

Instruction to clean room and to change bed sheet are printed on plastic in mandarin

We have stayed in a basic double room in Super 8 Hotel Beijing Wangfujing. The rooms are basic and could be cleaner but that was more that enough for us as we were out all day and came to the hotel to sleep only. The hotel is about 10 minute walk to a nearest metro station, just around the corner from Beijing traditional hutongs, the location is GREAT!!! The staff didn't speak much english but were very helpful and helped us to arrange a very early taxi to the airport for a good price. The room was decent size with big bathroom and hot water every time we needed. We would recommend this hotel if you are sightseeing all day as location is so central but if you are looking for comfort, this is not the one for you.

Very central and convenient location only minutes from an underground station giving easy access to all the main tourist places.Supermarket and reasonably priced restauarants opposite the hotel

They did not all spoke English but were halpful nonetheless. The management (sales manager) and the front desk man) were specially interested in my comfort. I really appreciate and I will come back to them if I am in Beijing.

The internet was unreliable. That needs to improve badly. Otherwise, I can complain much. After a week out in the field (Xi'an, Shanghai and Hong Kong, I am making arrangements with them to come back for a little while. . Thanks again to the girls at the front desk, they went out of their way to be helpful (they deserve some type of recognition - a trip to Chicago, for instance ((kidding!!). Ray

no one of hotel staff speaks English. Big problem to get a basic information about Beijing sightseeing from hotel staff.

Location is good. Metro station in 5 min walk, bakery and fruit shop in the next door, McDonalds across the street. 25 minutes walk to Forbidden city. Price is friendly.

Small room with no window. No elevator. Staff not speaking english at all. Very wet air in the room, because of bad ventilation. If you book a taxi through reception, it will be not official one and will cost more. Wi-fi is declared, but not working properly because of extreemly slow speed.

We had a great time in Bejing--wonderful city to visit --lots of historic monuments and some beautuful scenery .

The hotel staff did not speak a word of english and could not make the man on night duty understand / come up and see to , the problem we had with the bathroom --so had to wait for the repair team till 7 am to sort it out . So we had to suffer all night .Otherwise it is a good place for younger visitors who could bear with some times noisy corrridors --only some times! Ideal for young tourests .

Staff wasn't helpful arranging tours and providing information - very limited English. At least 30 minutes walk to Tianamen Sq - not the 15 as advertised.

The room was warm during cold temperature outside. The room is small but tidy. The hotel very convenient to subway line 5.

Proximity to sights and retail. Size of room was good for the price. English speaking maintainence staff very friendly and obliging ( offered us a different room if we preferred). Extremely budget friendly, £17 per night for a double room in the centre of a major world city.

Had a leak from the toilet that was not picked up by house keeping, had to request solution, when sorted left very dirty and messy. Another leak from radiator that was not rectified, maid just picked belongings up but did not get issue sorted. No hanging space for clothes.

1st day there was not english speaking personal, but it's possible to communicate with them. We needed to use their printer so they used phone to call some english speaking guy and then it was no problem. Next days there was some guy which can speak english very well. Great value for price and great location - there's subway station, few banks, McDonald, restaurant, supermarket Rooms were clean and bin was cleaned every day.

We found 2 cockroaches (1 really huge one) in the room in the morning before the day we were leaving, but it's possible that we could bring them with food from supermarket, who knows. The beds were hard.

staff are not knowledgeable. When we asked them questions about Beijing such as transport, they did not know. No lift, so, we had difficulty to carry our luggages. We asked them to help carrying the luggages, they refused by saying "No such service". We just asked them to carry for few steps.

Very good location, minutes from Denshikou Subway station, Wangfujing street, Forbidden City, and Tianenman Square.

The staff spoke hardly any English. There was remodeling work being performed at midnight and later. This involved jackhammers and lots of pounding right next to my room. The staff's only response was, "Sorry!" The lobby smelled like rotten produce, which makes sense because it was next to a produce stand. There are several options in the immediate area in this price range, look elsewhere.

Location is good. Short distance to subway. Shops and restaurants all close by.

Rooms and bathroom extremely small. My room was a Superior Double room with window.

Nothing special in this hotel.

Very bad services. Their staff so rude. The room very bad and not comfortable. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to all my friends.
