Parking and wifi were free. A very good breakfast was included with real crockery and cutlery, not plastic. Room was large and had fridge, two arm chairs and a coffee table. Located close to Downtown. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. The front counter staff was fantastic! Polite, curtious and very helpful! The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the continental breakfast was a great touch! My wife, daughter and myself had a very enjoyable stay!.
todos opiniões » Was concerned that cleanliness would be an issue due to recent negative reports about Best Western Hotels. Was pleasantly surprised with how clean the property is!. Dan at the desk was especially helpful with suggestions for meals...he went out of his way to make sure we were able to eat later than expected. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable and well appointed with fridge/microwave/coffee maker. Breakfast was awesome with fruits and nice plates and cutlery. Staff very nice. Room very convenient, bed very comfortable. All good. Awesome front desk staff ! Very helpful and accommodating. Hot tub was great and the beds are super comfy . Good breakfast too!. Location and Cleanliness. Comfortable, clean and reasonably easy to get to. No restaurant on site, but there were several restaurants within ten minutes walking distance. No microwave. Room was very hot, but air conditioner/fan was very noisy so had to turn it off. Our screen on the window seemed to have been cut, possibly from a smoker staying in a non smoking room. The only problem, and not a big one, was the office chair! It is made for very short people and does not adjust 'upwards' to accommodate taller individuals, thereby making for an uncomfortable work experience. ;-). Fan was noisy in the bathroom. Needs new rugs in both halls and room. Busy arterial road in front. Lack of green space. Vehicle noise. I can't think of a thing. The locks on the door didn't work well. I was locked out several times: Better maintenance required. Rooms not identical - my colleague and I asked for the same room type but he had a microwave while I didn't. I would have like to known what extras were available in the room. breakfast is not very well, but is free. So not that bad. It would be nice if there was a recycle basket in each room. THIN WALLS ESPECIALLY when the nejghbours jacuzzi tub is running at midnight. as "foot passangers" there were not a lot of eating places within easy walking distance. The toilets. You had to hold the handle down for a minute or two to get it to flush. The cost was excessive for the caliber of the lodgings. This is not new for me but every time I stay at your hotel I have problems with your internet. Very slow and very weak signal. All the xtra charges. The pancakes were sub-par. I had one that had hard, dry edges. They were generally kind of tough and flat. Staff had lack of knowledge about what to do in Calgary, one member of staff did not know that the tourist bus was not running any more. He told me that the hop on hop of bus stop was near hotel I waited for bus then went back to hotel and another member of staff looked it up on computer and then told me it no longer runs...Staff on front desk should know these things.... Hotel does not supply curtesy umbrellas. Shower faucet did not work properly-could not adjust the temperature. Breakfast : It was mentioned that there will be hot Breakfast but in reality there is no kitchen to cater for hot breakfast. Everything like Omlet, Scrummble Eggs, Saugages etc are Frozen and Microwave Oven Heat before serve to the guest which is not good for health. Secondly, the price indicated per day on the website is different and actually charged per day is different which is clear case of cheating with the customers. Water pipe noise at night. Desk staff were not helpful nor particularly friendly. There were no directions for adjusting the ac/heat in the stuffy room and it took some time to figure it out. A group member was locked out of breakfast promptly on the hour.
