  The owner Cindy was very accommodating to the fact that I changed my plans as the weather was not great after I got there. She also tried hard to find out if there was a way for me to see the Alexander Graham Bell museum and the Luisbourg Fort, which turned out to be closed in the end. The scenery was beautiful and I would recommend it to anyone travelling the Trail. Your staff had better info than we got at the Visitor Info Center upon reaching Cape Breton.   The Dunlop Inn is a lovely old home turned B&B on the waterfront. We stayed in the lighthouse room with a beautiful view of the harbour and lighthouse. I wanted a head start on the Canot trail since it was sunny!

  This is a wonderful place to vacation the Cabot Trail. It was a pleasure to come here. We saw bald eagles and hummingbirds here. We stayed at the 1 bedroom cottage. The living and sitting room are large, spotless clean and comfortable and decorated modern.   Loved the spacious room and the decor. The scenery from our room was beautiful. I liked how we could sit outside our room and gave a glass if wine or a morning coffee and enjoy view. Pretty sure we were the youngest people in town, everyone we met got to know us and referred to us as " the newlyweds" the people are all very friendly! Loved everything about this place! She was there with her warm smile to make our stay a time to remember.
