Location, cleanliness, wifi, recommendation of tours in Paraty. The afternoon tea and cake was a very nice touch.
I would have liked eggs, sausages and bacon to be served with breakfast making it a complete selection.
The staff was pretty friendly, the breakfast was delicious and everything was perfectly clean. The hotel is located a little bit far from the historic site, but it's easy to get there by car or bike.
This is an almost brand new family run guest house on the outskirts of Paraty - it is gorgeous! Fantastically designed and modern, great pool, afternoon tea/ cakes, great breakfast, bike hire, free wifi and use of modern computers with fast internet. Comfortable and inviting open plan seating area and a great garden. Would be good for families and couples alike. local bakery and pizzeria within very short walking distance of Pousada.
Location is out of Paraty town centre meaning it is relaxed and spacious, however it is a pleasant 20/25 minute walk to the historic centre. Bikes can be hired. On an evening is a flat 20 Reias in a taxi to or from the Pousada into Paraty or back again, or to the bus station.
We really enjoyed our stay at Pousada Don Juan, the staff was very friendly and the service was great. The facilities are brand new and very clean. Breakfast is very well stocked and they offer an afternoon snack that is just perfect to pick you up after returning from an adventure.
The owner was amazing and spoke good English. She along with the staff made for an excellent stay. The Pousada and room are new and of a high standard.
Location was a bit away from the historic centre but not too far - renting bikes made it very convenient.
