O que as pessoas dizem
I have stayed at this hotel several times over the last 10-15 yrs as I work with the E.U. on several projects. I grew fond of this hotel especially because the owner (?) -a very polite lady- always made us feel very welcome. I asked about her when we stayed there last week, but the staff told me she comes to the hotel only on weekends. If possible, please convey my greetings to her and hope to see her next time I visit Brussels. todos opiniões »
The bathrooms were large and very clean. The beds were clean and
comfortable --my kids liked the lofted bed area. Overall it was a small
space, but that didn't really matter to us. We had a great view out
the front of the building with a balcony.
Location, location, location! The room was clean but small; the bed comfortable and warm; the receptionist was very helpful. The window closed perfectly out the noise of the street.
Location was perfect only minutes from Grand Place & shopping area. Also near metro for easy access to train station if takiking that means of transport to airport.
Very good location in the center of Brussels. You can do everything walking, or using the metro which is really close to the hotel. Really cheap for what it is.
The location is my reason for staying at Matignon when I am in Brussels.
It is an old fashioned hotel having what I need, and the price is right.
Location, 2 min walk from the Grande Place. Very friendly staff. Nice simple breakfast. Good street view out of window.
Brilliant location just a short walk to all attractions and station front desk very helpfully very large family room.
good location! a few meters after great place.
good price! 100euro in the center of brussel.
The place is perfect, cable internet connection is very fast, the breakfest is good.
Central location
Cleanliness
Good hard-wire internet connection
Good breakfast.
Excellent location for tourists, good breakfasts, friendly staff.
The staff were helpful Location is ideal for central Brussels.
Great location, friendly staff, comfortable bed, silent.
Great location friendly staff close to restaurants.
Rooms are big and beds are comfortable.
nice hote, very close to Grand Place.
Location, comfort, staff.
Everything was OK!.
Excellent location.
Location was great & individually owned not a chain. Owner friendly and helpful.
Location
Size of the room and bed.
Quiet.
Friendly Staff.
The hotel is very close to Grand Place and many shops.
Location was great for seeing the city.
A lot of sattelite tv stations.
The retro comfort.
Nice location.
only the location.
Brekfast.
Summer is hot everywhere including Brussels. The lack of air conditioning in the room made it difficult this time. It was especially bad because we could not open the windows as the area has become very noisy at night. If this detail is taken care of, I still think the hotel is a good place to be when in Brussels.
It seemed a little pricey for just one night. We had to purchase 2 rooms
to accommodate our family of 5. ($350 total).
Our room looked similar but much smaller than on the photos as well as the breakfast. Wifi only in the lobby!.
Location was a little bit difficult to find. Nothing to dislike really. Would use it again.
The shower is french. For some reason, people in France and french
speaking Belgium don't like showers that can be/are fixed on the
wall, so that you don't have to hold it with one hand when taking a
shower. This is a mystery to the rest of the world, and at Matignon we
wonder, as always.
very small bathroom despite a large bedroom.
No proper shower just hose in bath.
It would be good to have tea/coffee maker in the room.
More detailed information about parking possibilities would be an advantage, because it is difficult to find a free parking place near the hotel during the day.
No windows to room I had, just a skylight. As I only stayed one night this
was not really an issue.
No wi-fi in the rooms, but a perfect internet speed in the lobby.
Train arrival at midi station instead of central station.
A bit noisy.
It would have been good to have WiFi in the room!.
No airconditioning, very noisy throughout the night if the room is on the street side.
Broken Furniture
Dusty cupboards
Running out of croissants (2nd morning)
Cold Breakfast room (2nd Morning).
I didn't like an annoying noise form the heating installation behind a closed door in our room.
Rooms were very small. Clean but needs updating !.
There was no wireless in the room so if no laptop, in my case with i-pad no internet.
No wireless in the room.
Very poor breakfast. Both the room and the bed were outdated.
WLAN and LAN (via cable) did not work for me (win 7). Network type not recognized ...
Staff was rude at times - many maintenance issues throughout the room/hotel. Also refrigerator was unplugged and reeked of mold/mildew - it is clear housekeeping is not very thorough.
breakfast only coffe and croissant
not a three star hotel.
No window in the room.
