The owners were really friendly and helpful. We were there to go hiking and the owners gave us lots of good ideas for routes. The location is very beautiful with views from the guest house overlooking the lake Wolfgangsee. Easy to walk into St. Wolfgang and to find restaurants for the evening. Breakfast was really good. The free wi-fi worked well.

The Ramsauer family went out of their way to make our visit enjoyable & possible. Christopher picked us at the Salzburg airport since there were no buses running late. Loved the location, very close to center of Halstatt. If you are using
gps don't trust it. The street is the first one on the right as you
come out of the tunnel. Street looks like a small one way but the hotel
is close with good parking. If I hadn't been watching the gps so
closely I would have seen their big sign. Very nice big room but the
location was awesome and town beautiful.

Stunning location. I had a room with a balcony viewing the lake. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are very clean, spacious with comfortable beds. Breakfast buffet has all you need.

Very nice B&B. We had two rooms of 3, both with balconies with views of the mountains. Rooms were large enough and beds were comfortable. Good shower. Adrian and Jillian were wonderful hosts. They were very helpful in planning our stay. It's in Obertraun which is a 3 minute ride to Hallstat so total access to the entire area. I would highly recommend the 45 minute walk from Rye Haus along the beautiful river with the mountains all around you to a 5 Star restaurant. Best meal we had in our 2

A well located guest house, just next to a mountain and facing green pastures. A ideal place if you are looking to get away from the bustles of the daily life. Our room was very big and spacious, with a nice balcony. It takes less than 5 mins to drive to Wolfgangsee :)

Good location at the crossing of Rainerstraße and B154; easy to reach from the Mondsee Straße (B 154) . Close to the city center and to the beach (walking distance). The hotel's parking can accommodate all the guests' cars (there is also a second parking that belongs to the restaurant run by the same family). The breakfast was OK both in quality and variety. The room was spacious and comfortable. Hint: ask for a room in the ground flour, then wi-fi will be available in the room too.

Having read many reviews beforehand, it is known that the hotel itself is not in the Hallstatt downtown and does not have a lake view. However, it is strategically located: 1) very near the bus stop and downtown, yet without all the noise; 2) roads to the hotel are flat, no problems for people towing luggages; 3) has a carpark; 4) virtually beside the saltmine cable station and near a waterfall. The owner of the hotel take care personally to have all we need. The rooms are complete renovated and I found a place with a significant higher standard than what we saw on internet. Rooms are decorated in a modern look with high quality materials, bathrooms are like in the 4-5 stars hotels and everywhere is very clean. -
