I stayed 3 nights in the hotel when in Melbourne for a conference. The location was wonderful -- centrally located within walking distance to so many venues and the central city.
Entering the room, the first impression was of a very pleasant clean and bright room --- very welcoming.

We stayed for 3 nights over the Anzac long weekend. The room was
spotlessly clean and was serviced every day - bed remade and fresh
towels etc. We had a "Queen Room with a view". We looked
directly over the mall and yet it was so quiet. The bed was very
comfortable and we had everything we need at our fingertips. We
literally walked 15metres up the lane and were in the mall. Brilliant
location!!! Gordon's was a cafe in the lane at our door....it was so

Staff where helpful and friendly although parking not at the hotel they have a deal with galleria car park only a short walk to hotel which only cost us 20 dollars leaving it there overnight and all of the next day till 3 oclock we

The apartment was clean, quiet with great broadband/wifi
connections. The broadband was fee whereas most hotels were charging
over $10 an hour! It was also a good location for me as I was travelling
to various business meetings all over Melbourne and there were plenty of

We had a show to see at the Palais Theatre - it was only 10mins walk from there and bustling cafe life of Ackland Street. Great location.
Didn't see any staff... Key pick and drop off instructions were very clear. I'd stay here again for sure. And it was quiet :o) for being on a main street!

Location, close to train station and tram stop. Shopping centre and cafes within easy walking distance. We had a campervan and this hotel offers free private parking which is a real bonus. The rooms are a very good size and the staff is extremely helpful. -

After a long international flight the Mantra was amazing. We arrived late at night so only spent about 7 hours at the hotel. But we ha the best sleep. Just what we need prior to an early morning flight. We didn't know how to get the bus to the hotel however it was only a $11 cab ride. We got the shuttle back to the airport the next morning. 24 roo

A perfect overnight before flying out in the morning. From the helpful reception to my room to the spa, my experience was wonderful. Having found a reasonable rate on Booking, I expected something fairly basic, and this pleasantly exceeded my expectations. The bed was comfortable, the surroundings upmarket, the spa and lap pool relaxing. Quiet too.

The location, so close to St Kilda beach & shops. Only 10 or so mins by tram to Melbourne city centre. Being a backpackers', it was cheap, but comfy & very friendly. We only needed a bed & place to leave our luggage, so it suited us well. Rooftop BBQ, smokers' area. Cheap, but good breakfast around the corner. -

Check in was very smooth and the information provided was excellent. I contacted the manager to arrange a slightly later checkout as we were meeting friends for lunch. He checked and as there were no new bookings for that night we were able to leave our belongings and collect them after our lunch which was most generous and helpful -

Check in and check out very easy. Convenient to supermarkets for grocery shopping and it was good to have a kitchen which included a dishwasher.

This was our second stay at the Amora. We were upgraded to the suite with a spa. It was very spacious, had a very comfortable king size bed, separate lounge area and a view across to Hawthorne. The Executive one bedroom apartment was great - 709. Spacious with a decent kitchen. The bathroom was very large - very suitable for someone with a disability. There bed was comfortable. the apartment was clean and tidy. The room looked at the Art Centre spire which looked great lit up at night. -

A group of friends had a great stay in a spacious 3 bedroom penthouse apartment. An upgrade I could get used to!!
Found the location to be very central with leisurely walk to many attractions and trams.
