It is located on a quiet street, but the main street with all sorts of restaurants and shops is just a minute’s walk away. You can save money by not taking a taxi from the airport to the hotel. Instead, take the airport bus, which runs every 10 minutes, to Southern Cross station. Then take the train to South Yarra station. It takes less than 5 minutes to walk from the station to the hotel.
todos opiniões » What a pleasant place to stay! Absolutely spotless with all facilities in the self-contained unit - kitchenette, separate bedroom, lounge, WiFi, you name it! Great location in a leafy avenue off Toorak Road's huge selection of eateries and so handy to public transport. Friendly staff and excellent in all respects. The initial aproach along the treelined residential Davis Ave. The six minute train ride to Flinders Street and adjacent tram route direct to the city. The room was remarkably cool considering the temperatures outside were over 35 degrees for the seven days that we were there. We had stayed here before and thought it was dreadful, but this time things had changed. The apartment was clean and comfortable with a courtyard to take our morning coffee. Great and friendly staff, and complimentary parking. We were very happy and would stay there again. we have stayed at davies st many times ,will always go back and have just booked yet again,we love the friendly staff ,the location,free parking and all the shops market transport so close by.many thanks. The studio apartment was clean and comfortable and plenty of room for 2 people for a short stay. The location was great, and easy walking to tram, train, retail and food shops. Good value accommodation. Location to trains and tram. Clean and tidy. Arrived late and check was easy and efficient. Wifi was free but took a bit to log on each time. Cafes close by with great coffee and breakfasts. - Proximity to shops, restaurants, public transport, botanical gardens, the Yarra river, cultural centres and city. - Size of apartment - Friendly staff. - staff were very friendly - located next to the station, convenient but a bit noisy - good area for shopping and food - 30 minute walk to Albert park. Location was excellent and not being on a main thoroughfare it was quiet. Room was basic, but clean and comfortable. Excellent value for money. Love the location of this apartment ... The cooking knives , like all rental apartments, needed to be sharpened every now and again. I did mention this to the management on checking out. Only 1 lounge chair (if you had time to watch TV) and limited space in bathroom. Bed only had minimal bedding for winter, consequently heat pump was on full time. Would have been good to have more milk for tea and coffees. - Wi-Fi not available in all rooms - No lift for larger luggage - Room age compared to photo's. - noise from station - paid internet access. Bathroom plumbing is in need of urgent maintenance. could hear other guest through the walls pretty well. the shower went cold before two people had showered. We could feel the bed springs in the mattress. Not comfortable at all. Getting a bit in need of some repainting and refurbishing. It was all good. Studio looked a bit dated , but very clean and contained everything you needed. I believe in need of a little maintenance in general. There could be improvement in the office area. The hotel is becoming fairly shabby. I have stayed here over quite a few years for my Melbourne visits and felt that the room was rather worn and needed to be updated in order to continue charging the same level of fee. The fridge in the room needed to be turned off at night as was rattling loudly. The air conditioner barely worked,and noisy.Stains to casual chair,mould on the inside of the shower,if you stood inside,not noticeable from the front.Shower head falls down when showering. It was noisy at night and the road was quite busy so if you like it quiet ask for a rear apartment. No elevator which is very uncomfortable especially with the big luggage. The group in the room next to ours partying until 4.30 am despite repeated attempts to get them to be quiet and the influx of pot smoke in our room as those in the room next to us were smoking from 1 AM to 4.30 AM. Shocking night. Never again at this venue. The place is a dump, cheap old furniture, ancient bathroom with permanently open window, great in winter! The worst place I have ever stayed.
