Our apartment was clean and updated. It was spacious and comfortable which really added to the experience. The view was fantastic from the balcony . We spent as much time there as possible.The location is as good as it gets.If we had been 30 or 40 floors up, we might not have liked it as much as we did. We had the most amazing room with a gorgeous view & the room & facilities were fantastic, although this being our first family holiday my kids are going to have very high expectations for any future holidays. We had the most amazing/relaxing stay.

Front desk staff always cheery and helpful. The stay at Grosvner was beautiful. Both apartments were tidy and stylish. The views were beautiful and relaxing. The staff at the site were helpful and supportive of our needs. I would recommend this place. I loved the apartment, very comfortable and top facilities. Great variety of tv. channels as well. I enjoyed the view and the close proximity to shops and restaurants and the beach. The location was fantastic, the rooms were huge and had every thing in them, very neat and tidy. Staff were very friendly. Will be coming back to stay. Excellent location near the Surfers Paradise shopping area. The rooms were big and spacious. To be fair it is an older building and foyers etc., need updating. False fire alarm at 2.15am. Although it was one way to meet others!. The staff on the phone when organising the stay were a bit rude. one apartment had a shirt left in the bathroom and the other bathroom screen door was broken to the point we could not use it. When I walked in I thought "what a dive and even thought of walking out. The lifts and appearance of units from outside ie door is shocking but when you gret inside is great. Windows were filthy and difficult to see out of. The upkeep of the hotel is not very good. The windows have not been cleaned for ages. The fittings have started to rust. Dirty windows and balcony Scruffy lifts. The room above was partying until 2am and despite the no partying policy signage being everywhere the night staff were not helpful when I called them. They suggested I call the police. No air conditioning, especially with young child, it's for their comfort. All good. My stay was wonderful however sometimes I felt that the staff weren't overally friendly. Apart from the woman that checked us out. A cleaning lady was quite rude to one of my friends, yelling at him for how he left his apartment even tho he came back up with rubbish bags to help her. So that was quite disappointing. But overall my stay was great. the swipe reader for car park was difficult to reach. Rooms are a bit dated, cleanliness wasn't great, and we had to wash all the glasses and cups etc before we used them, there was food on plates from previous guests, fortunately we always ate out. Unfortunately in need of a substantial refit. Generally don't like the Gold Coast environment...not enough leafy trees and continuous beach uninteresting. management confusion. The photos on the site are much better than the actual apartment, first impression disappointing. The apartments are old and need makeover. Windows, sills and outside furniture dirty. bit grotty. Scarry day manager - just dont ask him for help, he gets very grumpy when you feedback on room/concerns.
