I can't recommend this Crystal Bay more highly. We have been having weekend stays at the Gold Coast for years and this was probably the most pleasant and relaxing places we have stayed. The facilities - Great, the views -wonderful and I would recommend it to anyone. Everything about our stay was terrific.Location,car parking, facilities,clean and fresh, awesome view, liked the security key.pool and sauna were awesome....the works!Handy to town and beach, nice quiet area too.

My room was comfortable, the staff were very pleasant, the location was ideal. I was working that week and was able to concentrate on my work the entire week, with no interruptions. Loved being across from the park in a quiet area but close enough to the action if we wanted. My son loved the pool and watching the action on the river right outside our door. Staff were great and complex was conveniently located - easy drive to all the theme parks without being caught in the middle of the Surfers mayhem. Loved the position, the feel and facilities of the one bedroom apartment. Could not have been happier with 3 night stay. What a lovely place to stay, fantastic atmosphere, friendly staff, very tidy, will definitely stay again!. View from balcony of room. Pool size and spa temperature. Hotel in great location, was quiet and it has everything you need. thoroughly enjoyed our stay.and would recomend crystal bay resort. Good size, reasonable well equipped, comfortable. Easy location to get to and quiet at nights. really liked the accomadation and location. Great views looking out from balcony. The sea view and space. Love the beaches. Loved everything. The price. This was a bargain. The unit and building were spotless. The second bedroom only had a screen so wasn't sound proof from the lounge room. Lounge seating was cheap and uncomfortable. Parking within the complex was a challenge if you didn't get back early. Limited number of spaces, some of which, I suspect, were used by permanent residents, forcing us to park offsite for part of our stay. Air flow in bedroom - no ceiling fan. Carpet cleaning in hallway outside room without any notification - terrible smell on exiting room. The cold water tap in the kitchen was not working. A lack of shops n bars within walking distance. The carpet and furniture were dirty. None. Nothing really...if had cheaper units for regulars would come more often. Was all good. The shower kept running hot and cold, the dryer was a bit dodgy and the utensils and dishes were in need of replacing. Fresh towels daily would have been nice. nothing. Nothing not to like. Booked & paid for refurbished apartment. Bathroom very tired, definitely not refurbished. Also expected views of broadwater but apartment on level 2 looking directly at tree tops. Virtually no water view at all......disappointing. Staying for 5 nights thought they could of given fresh towels. no ceiling fans. Could do with few more cooking utensils etc but for price can't really fault. Limited parking underground. was a bit iffy about staying on 10th floor, as we are from christchurch, new zealand, aka, shakesville. The unit was very small and the lounge furniture was not comfortable for 3 people - but in saying that you get what you pay for and this was a bargain unit.
