The hotel has very nicely designed and comfortable apartments, is easy to reach and is located very close to the ferry. There is a also a modern basement carpark which is an important plus point if you drive. The staff is very friendly. As it is a no-party hotel, it is very quiet. The apartments were great, I only had very minimal dealings with the staff, but the one time I requested something they were courteous, helpful and friendly. It was a nice quiet stay,which is exactly what I wanted.

Convienent location also. Plenty of room in the 3brm apartment for our group of 6 people. Had a great time in Brisbane and will certainly stay at Story Apartments again. Location, large balcony and easy access to the city and local attractions. This was a return visit and will stay again in the future. Unit 20 was lovely & spacious. Was one of the best units that I have stayed at and a good location to the City & Southbank. Lovely big and clean apartments great view from the 7th floor.Ideal location for the Gabba and the city ferry.Very secure. loved the very roomy apartment glad to have undercover, secure parking security was good close to public transport. It would have been nice to have had the apartment cleaned and the towels changed throughout our stay as we stayed for 7 days. The cleaning could also be done better. No reception after 5pm, seems a little expensive for the services provided (or not provided, ie: daily servicing,) all in all, i would stay again, although only at a cheaper rate, if it isn't available for cheaper i will be looking for alternatives. Nothing. Did not appear to have a telephone to contact reception as I had to use my mobile to call the office reception. Nothing. the carpet was stained in quite a few places...didn't fit in with the rest of the image of a lovely apartment. Nothing. Check-in time is too late. If you don't have a car, the ferry is the only public transportation, which is quite slow for business trip. But it is free. Would have liked more information in the room about local bus and train services and map of Brisbane. They take all the cash out of my b4 we got there and got there we paid cash when arrived and was hard to get cash back still waiting for it to clean. And my partner was lock out in the middle of the which costed $100 to get her in which l am happy to pay but owners where not happy the next morning get over it u got a easy $100. Let hope my cash get back into my account soon who take the whole cash b4 guests turn up its only if a no show. Not many nearby shops/amenities. no free wifi, no flat screen tv,. Third bedroom not air conditioned, difficult to have the window open as the breeze flapped the blind. Booked two separate units for my family as we were in Bne for my daughters wedding, requested both units be close together - ended up in each 'tower'....was not ideal!. No shower cap. soiled towel left in bathroom. Lift problems. Furniture and carpeting were very tired and needed replacing Master bed sagged to the middle Wifi was expensive. Reception opened late and closed early and we didn't feel like the receptionist knew the area very well. Spare bedrooms very hot with no air conditioning and morning sun. Bathroom could have been cleaner. As we were there for five nights we ran out of a lot the supplies i.e tea, coffee, milk, toilet rolls which don't get replenished unless you ask... Insufficient info re. check out. No info. in room brochure about where to leave the key. When I received a phone message nobody available to answer my return phone call. No air-con in bedrooms. Lots of maintenance problems in unit. Bedrooms facing sandstone avenue very noisy. 2 double beds. Would not give us 2 single beds. With 15 & 16 yo teenagers (boy & girl) these apartments are definitely not for families with older children. Kitchen was dirty Blankets looked like they had never been washed. This is my second stay at these apartments and I have been disappointed on both occasions. Will not stay here again.

Please note that the extra bed in the apartment is a rollaway bed. Please note that for stays longer than 7 nights, an additional fee of AUD $45 will apply for babycots and extra beds. Please note that there is a 1% charge when you pay with a Visa or Mastercard credit card. Please note that there is a 2% charge when you pay with an American Express. You must show a valid photo ID and credit card upon check in. The credit card and ID must be in the same name as the guest's name on the booking confirmation. The credit card must be the same as the one used for the reservation. This hotel requires a refundable credit card pre-authorisation or cash deposit upon check in to cover any incidental charges. For credit card pre-authorisations, funds will be returned to the credit card after departure, but may take 5 - 10 days to become available.
