Genelg Gateway Apartments, are in excellent location .Constructed, just a walking distance from the main market, the apartments get a decent client age so it is very peaceful after a hard days work! The place is clean and well maintained, well connected by public transportation,and safe parking for private vehicles. Great location close to Jetty Street. Tram stop just across the way. This tram takes you to end of Jetty Street and costs nothing, it also goes to the city and is very inexpensive. If you have your Seniors Card, travel is free. All was comfortable and was well equipped.

I always recommend the Gateway Glenelg for stay when talking to other people in Alice Springs. Had a great stay as usual. Neat, and clean. Easy walking distance to beach, restaurants & shops. Tram available to go into the city without driving. Very close to supermarket etc. Good parking. Easy to cook own meal if desired. Lovely receptionist Connie. The accommodation was in an excellent position - convenient to transport,shopping and easy walk to the beach. People were very helpful and friendly, service was very good. We would stay there again. Value for money was good. Well positioned for both the beach, shops, restaurants and for transport into the city. Lovely apartment, well equipped, outside sitting area. Free Wifi, laundry room. Friendly staff. Garden area. The apartments were in an excellant location close to all the activities of Glenelg. The apartments were very clean a little dated but understand they will be upgraded next year. Such beautiful stay in the main house. So much room for 7 of us sharing and great location! If I come back to Adelaide in a group, I'm definitely booking here again!. The apartments are very close to public transport, the tram to go into the city is only 100 metres from front door. Supermarket only 5 min walk.Restaurants close by. Manager Connie was very helpful, cheerful and went out of her way to help - thank you so much Connie - this trip was very important and you made it special. Nice & quiet , clean with very good garden , convenience to shop and eat out . Can walk glenelg beach, close to to everything that you can think of. We rented the house as there are so many of us, we were surprised by the size it was great. A very beautiful old house with modern facilities. Parking, cleanliness and comfort. Plenty of room for a couple. Free Wi-Fi, quiet, well presented surroundings, excellent facilities. Most excellent service and help from staff. Good location close to tram to city and easy walk to the beach and shops. Communication prior to arriving was excellent. Connie who is the Manager was very helpful. Parking outside apartment. Great house comfortable furnishings, clean and great value for money. Close to beach and shops also tram nearby. We like the quiet environment through out the day. There are heaps of shops, restaurants just round the corner. Proximity to beach, shops, café's,,resteraunts and public transport. comfortable room with good facilities. Although there was no 24hr reception when Connie was there nothing was a hassle to her I was very pleased. not far from the city and the airport, only a few minutes from the centre of Glenelg ans the beach. For clients staying over three days the staff should ensure that the apartments are serviced with clean linen etc. Though washing facility is provided at a cost, the sheets and towels should still be changed by them. If stairs are a problem make sure you request the down stairs. There is parking but its tight. Only that over time it would be great if the double beds could be updated to Queen size. Double bed Lighting could be improved in both bathroom and small hallway. Only 1 towel per person, instructions advised towels could be washed in guest laundry - took this to say do not ask for extra towels. Minimum should be 2 towels per person. Kitchen cupboards could do with a make-over, looking a little tired and aged. No view. Morning and evening traffic noise. But being centrally located you cannot have it both ways. No tv in bedroom and only a small fridge. Nothing to criticise. The only thing to complain about was the mattresses on the beds I think it's time for new ones they were a bit uncomfortable. Lighting in a hallway and in bathroom too dark for effective use of the mirrors. Some late night and early morning (until 2am) noises from adjacent Telstra compound for two of the eight nights of our stay. . No negatives. very tight car park. reception only some days from 9 to 11. No complaints whatsoever. Lighting was a bit of a problem especially at night. A small cake of soap would be nice to have in the hand basin. nothing. As we were there for 5 days we felt that bed linen and towels should have been changed at least once. Some neighbour rowdiness and traffic hooning - not controllable. Road noise at times. Nothing. A busy pedestrian thoroughfare just outside the window. very close to main road and tram so a lot of traffic noise which had not realised when booked. Very low bed which was not the most comfortable of our trip.No towel replacement, expected to wash and dry at cost to you. Nothing. Just a little noisy. Bit noisy. Everything was great. It would be good if soap and shampoo beprovided. wouldn't rate as a 4*, a decent 3*, cupboard door hanging off in kitchen, units dated. Bed was too hard for us. The only thing that may need attention, but a very minor point, is lighting, tis very hard to read at night time. Nothing negative to say about the apartments.
