Great Staff and location

The staff and management were excellentn nothing was too much for them. This was our third visit to Argentina and this hotel, like a home from home

Very friendly, clean, central location, classic building and decor.

We had a room facing the street and it was understandably very loud with traffic noise. Only a problem when the window was open for fresh air. Also, unfortunately we could hear every word the people in the adjacent room said; the walls are a little thin.

Smoking is allowed in some of the rooms.

Just the fantastic feeling of being in a really nice homely place. I loved the wonderful second and third floor interiors. This hotel would be on my list of the five best hotels I have ever stayed in, in my entire life. But most of all the hotel brilliantly reflects the ambience of Buenos Aires.

I liked everything.

a beautifully restored building in am excellent location. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend it to friends.

The location was great. Short taxi or 25 minute walk to Buquebus (to go to Uruguay). There was a metro on the street and Ave. 18 de Julio with main buses was 7-10 minute walk. The staff was relatively friendly and helpful. I was able to exchange money there but would recommend going to a cueva (There is one on c/Posadas.)

The bathroom had no shower stall so water got every where. You can hear other people talking . I didn't get to try the breakfast so I can't comment on that. A mosquito got in the room and tortured me for the two days I was there. There are stairs leading up to the main desk so heavy luggage could be a problem.

Wifi is week in Some areas or totally missing in Some rooms like in room 111. Cleaning staff Should find Solution against hairs everywhere especially in bathrooms. But beside of all these facts the location and the staff Makes most of these deficits in a way acceptable.
