Loved the room. Love the view. Loved the convenient location. Loved the friendly helpful staff. Loved the decor. Loved the complimentary wine and coffee. We stayed an extra night because we enjoyed our stay so much. Great location. Close to many restaurants and bars, no car needed. Also walking distance to Seaport Village. Great pool/outside bar area. We will definitely stay here again and recommend this to our friends.

Rooftop Pool and bar with active social scene. Managers cocktail hour with free craft beers and sangria. Trendy design. Location Pet friendly. The staff was great! Even the other guests were friendly and nice. I felt very comfortable here and (best of all) so did my dog :). It was an ideal location downtown, within walking distance to all of the restaurants and bars but far enough away to be relaxing. The wine and beer reception in the lobby was fun and welcoming, loved the overall decor of the hotel. I liked the Solamar hotel because each staff member was professional, the lobby felt welcoming and stylish, beverages were served early (6:00a) each day, and the pool area was beautifully designed. Location. pool. The fact that wifi is not free. Nothing. 40$ parking. Parking is a little expensive. nothing really. nothing really. Loud guest running in hallway. There was one day where our room didn't get cleaned until 4:20 PM.....a minor inconvenience. We could hear people talking in the romm next to ours. The walls were kind of thin so you could hear conversations in the hallways and other rooms and the exterior walls didn't to seem to be sound proofed so the noise from the street was loud. Booking.com didn't get my Reservation forwarded correctly to the Hotel,. Would have preferred to be able to park my own car. (Although I understand it is not possible for the location.). Nothing :). Pool is open to public and limited seating as a result Valet parking is expensive (public self parking 1 block down is more than 50% less). Price is relatively high. nothing. Nothing!!!. Room had odd odor. parking. On arrival there were a few what we were guessing to be yellow cleaning rags left in various places in the room. The bathroom had stray hair, dust, etc. from the last guest on the vanity and in the sink. We stayed in one of the Deluxe King rooms, loved the bed until we realized it was possibly the loudest (creakiest) bed we've ever slept on. Every time you moved one direction or sat down it made an excessive amount of noise. I would not stay at the Solamar hotel again because my room did not have adequate drawers for clothing, the $ 40.00 fee to park overnight was outrageous, the fitness center was dingy, and the band which played at the pool area was too loud and kept me awake. Arrived at 5 pm and my room was not ready. Now I'm discussing an additional charge they made because of their mistake when providing us with another room - charged cancellation of the original plus the one we occupied. Food. We were quoted 180.00 We were charged 220.00. After calling them they said we took a bottle of wine which we did not. What a joke!.
