The suite and the view were Beautiful , we will with out a doubt stay there again !!!
They charge $20 to park your car on there lot , even if your staying there ?

This is a very good place, very ubicated and very clean. We enjoy our stay, it was very nice. The view is nice and the beds very comfortable.

Incredible view. This older facility is impeccably kept up and clean. Firm beds with quality linens and lots of little comfort details. The rooftop for breakfast or afternoon cookies was unique. One of a kind location for access to the ocean and shops.
The pool and hot tub were being renovated so no swimming on our vacation. You hear a lot of little noises which is the tradeoff for the glass wall with the incredible view in the front of the hotel.

no warning the pool, hot tub, and bbq pit would be closed a e-mail to those with reservations on those dates would be good. the bbq pit and hot tub is why I choose this hotel

It was a cold weekend and the old windows allowed for a cold draft to come in. Also, the bathroom was very outdated and a bit dirty.
Large a spacious rooms, close to La Jolla shops and dining. The ocean view was perfect.
The bathroom was a little outdated, and could stand some updating. The seals were loud and up all night. There was a bad smell on the lower levels however did not notice it on our 6th floor balcony.

Absolutely great location, just by the sea and La Jolla Cove and all sea lions and fantastic views not only of the sea beneath our balconies but also on the coast northward to LA. Still just couple of hundered meters to Prospect Rd and all activities.
It's always a gamble when you book a hotel for the first time, but La Jolla Cove was awesome. No hassles, friendly staff, great suite with beautiful views! We WILL go back. Thank you!

rooms were not very clean, esp. carpets, there was a moist smell. breakfast was poor. just bagels and waffle with jam everyday.

The view was to die for! The price was reasonable.
When asked about reserving a similar suite two weeks from the time we were there, we were told the prices fluctuated daily. They wanted 50% more in late November than we had booked in September.
Location was definitely the best part, but the Front Desk there does a Great Job! The woman who helped check us in was very helpful when we told her it was our first time in La Jolla and wanted ideas on what to do. She took her time to tell my wife and I all that La Jolla had to offer. She also suggested our new favorite restaurant George'S. We stayed here for our Honeymoon and look forward to returning for our Anniversary

Booked 2 rooms but when arrived the hotel there only 1 room booking record. Have to pay extra money for check in from front desk.
The front desk upgraded room at no charge when they realized the room we booked with a king sized bed was already taken. They also gave us free parking as well. The front desk staff was very polite and helpful
The hotel staff did not update their system and the room we booked with a king sized bed was sold after we already booked it online. The staff was apologetic, professional, and generous when correcting the issue.
The ost beautifull place I've ever been. The view was exactly like on the photos. Breathtaking.

Bathroom sink took up half of the doorway into the room..need to move door over, so you can enter comfortably.

Though public facilities of the hotel are a bit worn out and simple, the room was new and very comfortable. The view is stunning. Rooftop breakfast makes nice mood for the day. Great place to stay.
Parking rate is too much overpriced. I know it's not a hotel fault, but you should consider smell from the cove with the seals. It's awful. Sometimes you can hear it in the room when windows are open.

Loved the remodel and decor, it fits with the overall architecture and it was very comfortable to hang out at the hotel, which was a huge priority.
no dishwasher or A/C. Bathroom floor was not clean upon arrival. Shower is an afterthought, get rid of tub and provide huge shower with multiple heads....cool especially after the beach!

The location was beautiful and convenient to the town of La Jolla. I liked the easy access to the park. Also, the breakfast was a bonus and delicious!!
Unbelievable location, really friendly and helpful staff, great hotel that we will definitely recommend to friends and family and will consider the next time we want to simulate a Hawaiian vacation!
The shower was the only draw back....couldn't turn it off completely but no big deal.
