Room was very comfortable and clean the hotel is just minutes from the beach, bars and restaurants very good value for money i would definitely stay again if I were to go back to La Jolla

Location is close to the La Jolla beaches and dining/shopping at the Prospect St. Breakfast is not bad. Laundromat for guests was handy. You can take pool towels to the beach, which was very convenient.
Parking is limited and costs $12/night. However, can't really complain as this is in a city and there's no other parking space around.

We were there for a wedding. Every venue was walkable. It was also an easy walk to beautiful La Jolla Cove and many restaurants

Our room was near the pool gate which banged loudly early in the morning as people made their way to breakfast. We also listened to the elevator constantly. The noise was our only complaint. Amici's was very expensive...$30 For one pizza?!!

Bathroom exhaust was not good. Hair dryer didn't work until it was replaced. One lamp by bed didn't work until replaced.

The hotel was in walking distance to all restaurants and the La Jolla Cove. The price was decent and the rooms were very clean.
Having to pay for parking at the hotel I'm already staying at. Beds and pillows were very uncomfortable.
The Location
The fact that they call consider this hotel a plus? Only the location give them a little better status than regular Best Westerns I have stayed at! Currently, I have stayed at over 30 different Best Western for the record!

Expensive parkin ! $17/ day Breakfast area too small, chaotic at times. WiFi unreliable. Kept disappearing all the time. We were warmed that AC was being out of order the days we were there. Had to keep balcony door open causing noise from outside at night.

Room was spacious and comfortable, enjoyed large balcony overlooking pool. Grandkids visited and enjoyed heated pool.
We were surprised that we had to pay $12/day for parking, don't recall that being disclosed when we booked the room. Breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes and pancakes along with pastries, bagels, cold cereal, etc. Ran out of hot food one morning and staff was slow to re-fill.

The hotel is in the best part of La Jolla, handy for restaurants, coffee shops and cliff walk. Heated pool.

Elevator was noisy! Kept us up three nights. No refrigerator. No Micro wave. Had to pay $12/day to park on the property when across the street was underground public parking for $6/day! In Arizona Best Western I paid less for a suite and received more points but here I paid 2X with less accommodation and less points!
