Friendly staff, nice courtyard and pool area. Comfortable. I am always surprised when so few guests leave even a small tip for staff at the free breakfast. Come on fellow travelers - kick them down a few bucks.

This hotel is somewhat dated but the value is good considering the price of some other downtown hotels.

Close to resturants. Bars, museums, shopping. Pool. Hotel breakfast. Drinks in the hotel. Relaxing. Great staff. Clean room. etc. I will visit it again.

The outside of the hotel can use a little paint etc. Replace the banner in the front for a real sign. I still liked the hotel & will return.

I was very pleased with the accommodations they made for me. I had to stay 3 extra days due to some car mishap. I had a little trouble with my room and they were very quick to fix my issue. I would stay here again for sure. They allowed me to store several hundred records in first floor room, while I was on the 5th.

There was not much I did not like. When I was checking out, it was raining and I would have liked more covered entry parking. However, it rarely rains in Phoenix and this is not an issue.

Clean room, nice view of the city form bedroom. The pool was relaxing and the rocks inside the pool with the waterfall was very relaxing. The breakfast buffet is definitely worth the stay.

The pool has some rusty screws sticking out that my son cut his hand on.

Best Hotel for the money I have every stayed in. I stayed one night with my wife and her return flight was delayed. I stayed a second night! I was at another hotel by the airport in a not so hot area, and decided after they would let me see the room, yea that kind of place! Booked a room again at the Phoenix Place and happy I did! Staff is very nice!

The facilities were great and the front desk staff were very accommodating and helpful. We got a great deal when we stayed here and well worth the money. I would definitely stay here again. Location was right near the light rail that took straight into Downtown Phoenix and Tempe.

One of the restaurant staff spoke very loudly about guests tipping and not tipping and I felt it was quite rude and offensive, it also made me feel uncomfortable whilst I was eating and there was no authenticity in his service.

I had a great stay. I arrived after a SUPER LONG flight and checked in. When I got to my room it was 97 degrees out side but my AC had been turned on in my room so it was a cool 71 degrees. This made it easy for me to unwind and relax right away. Thank you for a great stay! Breakfast the next day was GREAT as well.

I really liked having the microwave in our room and the bed was very comfortable it had amazing sheets that my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed. :)

The staff was very friendly and helpful. While the facility was a bit tired, it was clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was not bad, not fabulous, but certainly adequate and plentiful. All in all, for the price, a good value. And the grounds and pool were pleasant. If you are looking for a luxury resort in the middle of the action in Phoenix, this would not be the place to stay. But if you are looking for budget friendly and comfortable accommodations, this could work.

The Internet was a bit tricked for iPad user.

Free parking, free wi-fi and breakfast. Room comfortable but a little cramped as it had 2 queen beds. Close to Central Ave, the main artery of Phoenix, the Heard Museum, and not far from the airport. An ok stay, with a car.

The room had no fridge until we asked for one! The cooling/aircon unit was very noisy but couldn't be switched off - not an easy-to-fix problem so maintenance just left. Breakfast was included in the rate but was only average, however we had a good dinner at the Grill. There are no stores or restaurants nearby (that we could find).

The staff was courteous and attentive.

We stayed in one of the cabanas and the phone did not work and was not repaired after many tries; the sink drained slow and when it rained or the staff cleaned the terrace, the water ran under the door soaking the carpet. The carpet in the common areas was worn and stained. The free breakfast was mediocre...except the great fruit? Only one pool was filled.

The price was right. I liked the breakfast included in price. Nice having a fridge in room.

The ac was too loud and really uneven, room became too hot, then too cold. Bed was supposed to be a sleep number bed, but was very uncomfortable. I didn't sleep well. The elevator was messed up, (jerky and bumpy) we lost tv reception the 4th day there. No shower curtain the first night, but was replaced next day.

We spent a lot of time waiting for the desk maganer to check in. Also parking was full. And finally we made reservation of 3 rooms via letsbookhotel.com with cost about $300 for all rooms, But hotel charged from my bank card about $600! And they didn't responce when we asked to refund all extra charges. Certainly we DON'T recommend to stay at this hotel

Poor customer service staffed made fun of us. Sleep number bed hard as a rock with no remote and staff was unwilling to get us one. (And I paid extra for the sleep number)Put in a complaint still haven't heard back. Called day before stay to confirm they couldn't find my booking reservation took them an hour to call me back regarding it. Booking said it was a smoking room when it wasn'T. Pool was out of order. Went there for a concert and there was no place to eat after the concert.

Rude manager, although the site said nothing about having to be 21 to check in, he came out against it. Still had to change the reservation to my boyfriends name since he refused to have me pay for the hotel. Since I am 19
