The employee was professional about the travel and have stunning view in the room.everthing is really excellent.

I thought the hotel was excellent. I have visited New York many times on business but this time I was travelling with my wife and teenage children who had not visited New York before. The hotel rooms were excellent and were clean, comfortable and looked just like the hotel photos. We were upgraded from a family room to a suite and it was excellent. It was by far the best hotel I have stayed at in New York and would be happy to recommend. It is also conveniently located.

I am a regular there when I arrived at 2.30 I was told my room would be ready in a hour !! I waited 4 hours till 630 pm. Was not very happy , I was racing some of my horses the next day at meadowlands and visit gal pal for shows and dinners. My first day was ruined ! Had to cancel all afternoon plans, as I was exhausted by time I got in showered it wAs 8 pm. Also had car ordered for departure. It never was although they got one for me fast.

when I was there , the hotel is in a change of hand situation from Sltai to Langham hotel . staff were trying to give personalised service but not quiet to the point , it is a bit disappointing ! Actually this is what I didnt like , bad timing !!

1. Poor breakfast
The room was great and made great use of the Laundry facilities in the room. This was a great help with children.
The reception, conciege and Door staff where very helpfull and friendly to the whole famliy.
The cost of breakfast was very very expensive especialy for a family. It was also a bit too formal in the resturant at breakfast.
The main Bar in the Loby had terrible service on the Sunday 31st March. There was not enough staff working. Plus I do not think the bar is stylish enough compaired to the rest of the hotel.

we have stayed at the Setai in both Miami and NYC. Great staff, accomodating, lovely rooms, great restaurants on site. Loved eating in the bar area listening to live jazz ensemble. Gourmet restaurant is superb!
We were upgraded and had a very nice suite with view on the Empire
State. Very friendly personal assistance. Excellent cuisine and high
quality cooked breakfast.
I would have preferred the choice between 'à la carte' and a
breakfast buffet. The latter is not available.

The room was a good size.
The room was often not cleaned properly.Water was missing by the
bed;bathroom towles were not replaced.The spa desperately needs doing
up.The breakfast room is gloomy and the coffee was dreadful.Not always
the same but consistently dreadful. The bread was cheap and horrible.
Room was large for NYC, view was good, but too low for the price. Staff was accomidating but a little inconsistent.
Very, very poor valet service! First impression after driving through City should not be to wait while staff chats. Too much congestion of limos and cabs in from that should have been cleared by Valet staff. Room smelled of smoke in sections. Matress too thin and soft. Toilet strangly situated.
