  This motel is very convenient to the freeway and the westside of Los Angeles. It is not real close to the beach communities, but easy to drive to them. Close to ucla and Downtown Culver City. The staff is friendly and the room we stayed in was newly refurbished. Very clean. The location and proximity to the fwy is great!! Close to Venice Beach, Santa Monica. We stayed because we were going to the Getty Museum and it was an easy drive from there. Found a great Wine Bar called Sara's 15 mins away that had great wines and food. Very generous pours.

  This place is fine really. Seemed newly refurbished and the staff were friendly. Really well located for downtown SM and the beach where most accommodation is very pricey. - second time staying here, great for a budget night or two. Just 10 minutes brisk walk from Main Street, Santa Monica.

  We stayed at this hotel in July 2013 for 4 nights. It was myself, hubby and our 13 year old daughter. We really enjoyed our stayed at this hotel. The location is great, you can walk along Hollywood Boulevard to the 'strip' and it was only 10min drive to Universal Studios which we visited during our stay.   This very low profile hotel is the best kept secret in hollywood. At first sight it doesn't seem to be the best choice. Yet in my opinion it is. I've been around la for a while in the various neighborhoods and in many different hotels. And the "Super 8" without the slightest of doubt was the best offer quality-pricewise. Lots of parking space, relatively close to Venice beach.

  I loved this place. The girl was old and out-dated, but I didn't hold it against her. Because she was built to last. And the current owners keep her impeccably clean and well-maintained. We took the free shuttle to dollar rental cars and picked up our car there, from there it was in the same block. ( you can jump on this shuttle even if you didn't rent a car there.
