From the first moment we entered the staff was friendly and helpfull. The location is exellent, 8min walk to the L. Clark street which is full of pubs and restaurans just 2min. 2 cinema's are in walking distance. The hostel is great, whether if you're in a dorm or private room. We were in a half/half. At check-in the staff was extremely helpful and, when no parking spots were available, they showed where to find free parking and then another ramp to park as well. The events hosted by the hostel were outstanding as well, the pub crawl, evening grill out, and the Hawks parade viewing of course. Overall, this hostel is straightforward and simple, no tricks, in a fun and happening Lincoln Park neighborhood, and I know this is my new go to place to stay when I return to Chicago for future trips.

The staff was fantastic, as was the concept an idea of the place. It had a efficient yet cool feel to it. The location is very convenient; a block from the blue line, a short walk from the six corners, parking available on the streets, Divvy bikes a block away, next door to Starbucks is a plus! The hostel was very new and cool. Decoration was great and hostel had all the services we needed.
There was a organic market on the first floor which was great. Location was perfect too, nearby good restaurants and shops, and easy acess to transportation.
Room was clean and matress were good. We've stayed as a family on a room for 4 with bathroom. Shared bathrooms were also clean and very private - it wasn't these hostels with many showers one next to the other.

Great room - remodeled recently and very clean. Fantastic rate and free parking worth about $40 in Chicago and 2 free breakfasts at the restaurant worth about $15. - The entire staff was very cordial, friendly and helpful. The accommodations were excellent for the money and the breakfast was a pleasant surprise.
