  The room was pretty much what we saw on the internet, so pretty much what we expected. The courtyard and our balcony overlooking the the courtyard was really nice. We didn't have much interaction with the staff, but what little we had was quite positive. We ate in the bistro the first night we arrived and were pleasantly surprised with the food ... co mówią ludzie » quality and price. - We really liked the location because we were close enough to walk a short distance to Bourbon Street but we were far enough away from all of the loud music and party goers that we could sit peacefully on our balcony and enjoy the sun and fun from a distance.

  We got upgraded to a suite! What a treat! The proximity to the places I wanted to be. I'd definitely stay there again. Loved the courtyard swimming pool. Room where i stayed was small, just big enough for a queen bed, bathroom was actually bigger - but very comfortable and perfectly adequate for solo traveller. I was a little concerned about walking back late at night after reading several reviews - but really nothing to worry about. Would definitely recommend - excellent value for money. - A nice old building with typical for nola iron balcony (there are tables and chairs there, so you can sit, have a cup of coffee and admire the view of the old French Quarters). The rooms are renovated with clean and modern bathrooms and a very comfortable bed. The people in hotel very friendly and helpful. The was no safe in the room but there is a safety deposit box at the front desk and its free! Location is great - just two blocks from Bourbon Street.

I also liked the public parking garage that was very close by and cost much less than the hotel's price of $30 per night for parking on the premises. - Very Quiet and clean. East side of the French Quarter, one block from Bourbon St. Easy access to the city streetcar system. Busy staff try very hard to service the guests and succeed if you are patient.
