Very close to the Reliant Center - within walking distance. Thefore very convenient to avoid the traffic jams and parking costs of attending any event there. Clean. Roomy enough. Decently equipped. Fast wireless internet connection. Friendly staff. Extremely good value for the money. +Great location to Medical Centers. +Rooms are ready for extended stays-- microwave, fridge, ironing board, couch, and plenty of room to hang clothes. + person called me to find out if I still needed directions when I had not arrived quickly enough from the other motel.

This place is superb for the price, but just remember to bring things that you usually need (shampoo, hair dryer, etc.) as you might not find it there. Sterling Inn was conveniently located near the Houston medical complex. It provided a very clean, comfortable place for us to stay on a fairly tight budget due to my wife's medical bills. Although near the interstate, we heard no "freeway traffic noise. The hotel was very clean, the room was very comfortable, and nicely decorated. We felt very comfortable there, and would definitely come back. The management and staff were very kind and helpful. It was a great value for the price. Solid value. Everything necessary was in place, the hotel room was clean, the staff was attentive. Exceeded my expectations for a hotel in this price range and location. I like the fact that's its a good hotel for its rates. I like the flat screen TV, the refrigerator & the microwave! It is near everything. This is a wonderful hotel!. This motel is very close to the hospital zone, not far from downtown either. Rooms are big, well - equipped and clean. A nicely run place=). Very Clean and close to Medical Center. No breakfast, just brewed coffee by the reception. --Two motels on same highway with same name. I ended up at the wrong one. Also found out that there were Kirby exits on both the north side and south side loop. Was hard to find initially. The one needs to have written directions to the other one, instead of relying on staff to give directions, which can be confusing. Location, it was close to a highway so naturally, it was very distracting. Also, there aren't any restaurants and entertainments, etc. within walking distance. We stayed two nights and really didn't need anyone to clean after the first night. However, there was no door hanger to request service/no service from cleaning staff. It's not that we did not trust anyone there . . . but just that we enjoy our privacy. Minor annoyances: only 2 hangers, iron leaked water. I love it!. Staff is friendly but communication is slow because of language barrier. Best results obtained when speaking face to face. Hard to find even with GPS. no coffee in room; only 2 pillows; no blanket. 1. Parking was horrible, almost couldn't find a spot. 2. People were lingering in the parking lot. 3. Front desk personnel was hard to understand. Towels very small and thin. no continental breakfast. staying across from the ice machine. Bookings.com did not include all taxes in rate quote. Chair in the room was torn. Need better towel quality. the room had been smoked in and we payed for a non-smoking room. did'nt get wake up call after asking for one. The bed could be more clean and comfortable. Room was not as pictured on site. Paint was chipped, carpet was stained. Much smaller than picture shown. A bit claustrophobic for two people. We had a smoking room with no ashtray. Only two towels that felt like sandpaper. If you are looking for a budget stay you could get this quality much cheaper. Dark in hall outside at night. Door did not shut good and lovk was loose. Called front several times to request internet assistance and no answer. They only had two towels in the bathroom.. Which were dirty. there was no fitted sheet on the bed. And they refused to let me pay with cash or my other card.
