  This was the first time I stayed at a Motel 6. From the reputation of being a low budget hotel, I didn't expect much. I was happy to discover that the room was very well maintained. Everything was in excellent condition. The bed was more comfortable than the one I have at home. Everything looked new and we had excellent water pressure in the shower. We - For a budget price, this beautiful hotel with friendly staff made our coastal visit wonderful.   We were just traveling through to our vacation destination in California. Had wanted to travel further south, but reviews looked a little shaky we knew we could count on cleanliness of a Red Lion.   The Old Tower House, a beautiful Victorian built in 1872, has a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. My husband and I slept in the Rose Bedroom, named after its lovely wallpaper. Our bed, the most comfortable bed we'd slept in during our entire vacation, was a 150-year-old four- poster. It is a really old house, but everything works well.
