A very well presented and comfortable apartment just a 10 minute walk into York center.We were met by the owner Shaun who was polite and helpful who supplied us with a welcome pack containing the basics of milk,eggs etc...nice touch.Would recommend staying here to anyone interested in historic York.Looking forward to a return visit in the near future.
Very comfortable, clean and modern apartment within easy walking distance to York centre. Friendly and helpful host. Small things that make our stay more like home such as paper towels, olive oil for cooking and summer weight quilt on the bed were much appreciated. This is a FANTASTIC place to stay if you're visiting York, with private secure parking right outside the front door.
EXCEPTIONAL staff; location; cleanliness; value for money; decor; kitchen equipment (I could go on) etc.

Spacious, comfortable and relaxing accommodation. Welcoming hosts who provided detailed information on York and its attractions and eating venues prior to arrival. We left our car parked for the two-night stay as it is just a few minutes walk to all main points.

Very nice and clean apartment, it had everything you'd need (kitchen
utensils, towels, some city maps and guide books, and even some food for
breakfast!) The centre of York is a 10 minute walk away, and the hosts
are very friendly and helpful. Strongly recommend to anyone!.
Outstanding accommodation at an affordable price within walking distance
of the beautiful city of York. Just down the road there is a fantastic
cafe with great coffee, as well as a great delicatessen and butcher.
Shaun and Lilian were great hosts and extremely generous.
We were made to feel at home by Shaun and Lillian. Everything you could want was there including eggs etc. for breakfast. The apartment was in a great location , easy to park, easy walk into the city. In this case it wasn't too good to be true it actually was!.

The apartment was tasteful, lovely and really comfortable, we soon felt at home. Lillian and Sean were very nice people and very welcoming. To be able to park the car off road and have just a short walk into the city was a real bonus.
The apartment was comfortable, well equipped and warm (on a very cold weekend). The resident owners were particularly helpful without being invasive. Would stay again if travelling to York and recommend wholeheartedly.
