The owners Jayne and Steve were very friendly and welcoming, the whole place is spotless and the room was very modern and comfortable, breakfast was lovely and lots of fresh fruit and cereal was on offer along with a cooked breakfast and plenty of tea/coffee. The location was excellent, very near to the shops and off-road parking was available. All in all a very nice guest house and would definitely stay there again.

The exterior is just like any other B and B but the rooms are amazing. Everything has been carefully thought about. A full mini bar with honesty system for payment. A proper jar of coffee with fresh milk in fridge. Snacks. A very comfortable bed. All modern bathroom with top of range toiletries. The information book in the room is so professionally done. DVDs.

The Guest House was very clean and comfortable and the staff couldn't do enough for you. They really go the extra mile eg: complimentary bottles of water, tea and coffee topped up during the day, chocolates at the side of the bed, turning the bed down and turning the lights on in the evening.

lovely welcome from Simon and Angus the dog, room was fantastic as was the bathroom having the choice of bath or shower was fantastic, Susans BL cakes were devine so much so we brought some extras to bring home. Breakfast was amazingly good. couldnt have asked for nicer hosts nothing was too much trouble, many thanks for the lift to liverpool docks, a real home from home. Billy is a kind and friendly host. It only takes 10 minutes and 2 pounds on the 82A bus (direction Runcorn) to get to the Hale Village Post Office and then it is a 2 minute walk to the guesthouse. Best food close by is the Wellington pub - they have free WI-FI as does the guesthouse. Billy gave me a lift to the airport in the morning.

Our landlady made us very welcome and we were able to find a previously-reserved parking spot easily. The breakfasts were hot, satisfying and tasty, and my online request for a vegetarian cooked breakfast had been arranged. The room was quiet, clean, well-equipped and very comfortable. Although we only stayed for 3 nights we felt very relaxed by the time we left and would definitely go back again. The Andora is also really close to the seafront and main town.

We were fortunate when choosing a bed and breakfast in the West Kirby area to find Calderscroft when we were visiting Liverpool with some friends for the weekend. Dave the host was there to welcome us when we arrived. He was very helpfull, and made us very welcome. The hotel was spotless and are room was very comfortable. On arrival we was asked what time we would like breakfast, we opted for latest time of 9.00am. The breakfast was excellent, and again Dave & Rachael coudn't do enough for us. So overall, great hosts, clean and very comfy room, in a perfect location.

Everything!! Lovely, helpful owner, Sue, couldn't have done more to make us and the other guests feel 'at home'. So much better staying in the quiet suburbs than in the city centre with buses running every eight minutes or so from right outside the house into the city centre for shopping and sightseeing. A beautiful house in a lovely location, very clean and a great breakfast!

The location of The Casartelli is also something which makes your sty even more spectacular, it is central to all Liverpool’s attractions. - Brilliant location. Gorgeous apartment and the staff were extremely helpful. We weren't leaving Liverpool until 5:30 on the day that we checked out and we didn't have to check out until then as the apartment wasn't in use that night. If ever in Liverpool again,will defintately stay there again and would highly recommend it.

What did I like? - everything. The location was perfect - conference centre, Albert Dock, city centre on your door step. The room was surprisingly spacious and breakfast was fantastic.
