Had a great 5 night stay. Great location in the countryside on an easy to use bus route. No need to rent a car. Short walk to the coast through beautiful lanes. Good food, great service, fun folk music in pub. Would stay here again if we come back to Guernsey. -

The hotel is in a truly stunning setting, looking out over a wooded gully, to the sea. Service was good, as was the food at both restaurants - it's well worth a trip to the Rock Garden for a few cocktails, too! Possibly the best hotel we've stayed at in Guernsey. Potential bookers should note that this is NOT in St Peter Port town but a rural location in the parish.

Loved the huge bathroom. Toiletries were replenished each day. Breakfastdining room was lovely, with a good selection of food. King-size bed,and room overlooking the outdoor pool . The rooms were fab, perfect, staff all very friendly, Malcolm was brilliant, doggy receptionist was cute! :-) Food was fab, place amazing, relaxing, enjoyable, peaceful, restful and I would def come again in 2014!!! Cant wait to try pool in the summer! thank you! ;-) -

arrived until the time we left. Nearly all of the staff we
encountered were lovely.
2) Mark Jordans food was exceptional both in terms of quality and (relative) value for money (we had the £65 3 course)
3) Location and views provided by hotel. Whilst it is a bit out of the way, it was lovely none the less

We stayed in one of the cottages which are of a very high standard. Decoration is attactive and there are some lovely touches; comfortable and stylish.
Staff were helpful, responsive and kindly - without being intrusive. We were travelling with my elderly mother and aunt and the team at La Place made everything very easy for us.

Fantastic stay at Hotel La Place, the staff were amazing and couldn't do enough to make sure our stay was enjoyable. We were picked up from the airport and upon arrival out bags and check in were taken care of while we enjoyed complimentary champagne in the bar! We were even lucky enough to have a free room upgrade to the newly refurbished Deluxe room which was beautiful.
