  Easy to check in, made to feel very welcome. Staff were excellent and very attentive. Room was very comfortable and the tea and coffee was very welcome! I was particularly impressed to find the heating was left on over night, and not turned off as is so often the case in some hotels.   This was a brilliant location for me. In the city centre with loads of restaurants and Pubs around. There was parking outside the Hotel for just £2-4 for a part or full day. Laundret just 5mins down the road.   I was very dubious about this hotel as only after I booked the hotel I noticed a few very negative comments on the internet. I phoned the hotel and Tom who works of the reception advised me that the hotel is very good value for money and I will be pleasantly surprised. Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and the breakfast was great. There was r - This is a budget hotel which is well worth the nobey we paid. Breakfast was am ple and standard fare. The room was better than you would expect from this Type of hotel. SECC is within walking distance from the hotel. The only complaint is the short time availability of breakfast. As this hotel caters for people going to a gig they need to increase time for breakfast. It meant that people all rushed in just before 8.30am and the breakfast room could't cope with this.   Margarate was a wonderful host, very friendly and helpful at all times. The room was well serviced, linens clean and fresh towels every day. Breakfast was good with an ample variety. We chose the hotel for its proximity to the university and it was easy to access public transportation.   This hotel was excellently placed for the function we were attending. It was clean and comfortable and despite asking for a room at the back, thinking it would be quieter, we had a room at the front in the basement which was quiet and also large so there was no need to complain.
