friendly. They went above and beyond to help us with our trip and to
make sure we were comfortable with our stay. The breakfasts were great
and they even made other guest's meals that weren't even on the
menu!! They both work really hard and long hours and always have a smile
on their faces. They made the start of our trip to Edinburgh.

This is a family guesthouse, and that explains why you feel so much at home there. The floor cover, design and dining room all make you feel a special guest. Breakfasts icluded, wifi is free. Perfect location, close to centre of town. Received a very warm welcome, lovely people running the bed and breakfast in a relaxed, efficient way, they couldn`t have been more helpful. My room was clean, comfortable and had all I needed, the house itself is a beautiful old Edinburgh town house. Fantastic breakfast and I look forward to staying again for my next great night out in the big Toun!

Clean room and friendly staff. Feeling like I was living with a family! honestly I didn't expect the room is big enough for ten people to live in, since we only had three people. Marvellous! It's a lovely place with amazingly friendly staff! For the price you pbly won't find a more original B&B. It is nicely situated, though closer to New Town so that you have to walk a bit to get to Old Town. The breakfast is nice if you take the cooked breakfast. We'll stay there again if we go back to Edinburgh.

St. Bernard's House is situated in a lovely part of Edinburgh, surrounded by beautiful Georgian architecture, with plenty of little shops, pubs & places to eat etc. round the corner. We were more than happy with our stay and the couple who run the guest house were friendly and very helpful. We hope to return at some point and discover more about the local area and Edinburgh itself.
