  This place has a very relaxed laid back approach and if you need any help everyone is friendly and informative enough. The location itself is very central and the bus from the airport shuttle bus drops you right behind their street. At a perfect spot in “Edinburgh new town”, in the middle of shopping and restaurant areas. The building originally from early 19th century is well preserved and nicely taken to the 21st. The top floor stairs is old and torn but so full of charms. Nice rooms in harmony with building, furniture and facilities. Run by friendly owners and an adorable old cat watching the lounge. Good WI-FI. Breakfast is served at neighbouring Rick’s Hotel, really good.

  The owners are totally committed to providing a quality experience to their guests. It seems a range of languages are spoken and there were many Continental European guests though all are welcome. Good breakfast with self serving coffe/tea, juice, cereal and yogurt. I had scrable eggs on toast, but you can get a full Scottish breakfast. Staff very friendly. I'd like to stay longer to interact with them. Definitely I'll came again.

  This b&b is excellent in every way. The Georgian home is most welcoming, and is as elegantly decorated as it is comfortable. The bed, couch and chairs were very comfortable and the room was large and had beautiful big windows. It is also situated in a lovely quiet area with access to private gardens nearby.

  All our stay was perfect. The bedroom was just like the one in the pictures. Very clean and comfy. Great double bed. Perfect with tea/coffee/chocolate facilities in the room. Double glass window.   The people at Martins Guesthouse were very friendly and the breakfast was perfect. I had the small room with a tiny ensuite bathroom on the top floor, but I knew that beforehand and I do not need much space - so it was perfectly ok for me.
