We enjoyed our stay from start to finish. We had completed the "Special Requirements" part of the booking form regarding check in time and received a call from the Brasserie on the same day who were happy to help and accomodate our request. On arrival the gentleman who met us was very friendly and we only mentioned the need for a taxi soon and it was all organised for us. We had booked a double room and were given the apartment adjacent to the hotel which was very well decorated, roomy and well. wszystkie opinie »
Very attractive and quirky hotel with a great frontage for taking refreshments...even had a heated wooden gazebo! Great room - very spacious and comfortable. Even though there was music every evening it was not noisy. Fab menu and a buzzy atmosphere in the evening. Very attentive staff who were friendly and helpful. Best fruit salad as part of the breakfast that we have had for a long time. Such an excellent location for exploring Harrogate and to catch the train to York. Great bike hire compan.
The hotel is a cosy little place in the town centre with an excellent bar and funky-jazzy interior. The staff is very nice and helpful and I was given I think one of the best rooms which was a studio apartment on the top floor. When I entered the room I discover that its' been newly refurbished and there is a big cozy bath right by a king size bed! What a treat! I would love to go back there with my partner for a romantic weekend.
We liked the position of hotel, city centre but no traffic noise. Parking
free but quite a challenge to fit into your space as cars all getting
bigger and spaces smaller! Room big and spacious, bed very comfortable .
The breakfasts were excellent as was the dinner. Live music on four
nights a week. Very busy so worth booking dinner there.Staff attentive
and cheery. Has a real buzz in the evenings .
The jazz art deco and the theme that ran through the hotel was fantastic. The evening meal with a live jazz performance was superb. We loved the jazz, blues, soul music that was played every evening as we ate. The Hotel owner / manager was very nice. We would certainly go again. We actually stayed in the apartment at the back of the hotel which was lovely.
Location was great. Proprietor informative and friendly. Breakfast
freshly cooked and you can get kippers if you order the day before. The
room was amazingly large with bay window and separate large bathroom
too. Decoration was bold and interesting. We had a grand time.
The room was clean, comfortable and slightly quirky. Breakfast was freshly prepared and good. Parking is tight, but hey, it's a city centre hotel and it's free! I love the Brasserie and would recommend it wholeheartedly.
The hotel is lovely but the staff are even better. So helpful and friendly.
Great breakfast, great restaurant - I stay in hotels for half my life and this one is exceptional in giving you that "home from home" feeling.
We spent 2 nights in this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast lovely. It was very central in the town and so close to all amenities. Will definitely stay there again if we visit harrogate.
the location was great for us, really central and close to all the shops and restaurants etc. we enjoyed an excellent evening meal and the live music was an added bonus. Lots of little added extras everywhere.
Music in restaurant
Quirky,comfortable room
Convenient ,town centre location.Close to shops, theatre and many restaurants
Good breakfast,with attentive service.
All the staff were very pleasant and helpful.
Very atmospheric location with live Jazz type music with very good food. We stayed in an apartment which was well appointed. Harrogate is lovely with an excellent Danish designer furniture shop nearby.
Easy parking, very friendly staff, excellent situation.
Altogether a very classy stay for (in my opinion) a budget price.
Would have no hesitation in returning and would thoroughly reccommend.
Welcome on arrival, individuality of rooms, 4 of us had a room each. Meal on Friday night and music was brilliant. great atmosphere, super people. Nice breakfast, nothing too much bother.
Lovely quirky little hotel,on site parking.
The foos is amazing and the Jazz band are excellent.
The breakfast was lovely, cereals, fruit and full English.

Very welcoming staff. Excellent food. Lovely restaurant with live music each evening. Relaxed, unhurried atmosphere. Close to theatre, shops, walks in the park. Great breakfast.
Overall level of comfort was really good. Weather was cold and room was good temperature. Parking was fantastic! Once there, I could walk everywhere in central Harrogate.
Unique atmosphere. Even non jazz lovers would like the laid back music, which can turn every meal into a romantic occassion. Food exc++. can't wait to go back again.
Wonderfully atmospheric (quirky) restaurant/bar area, superb food, excellent staff, good wine and beer and live music. (We thought we had died and gone to heaven!!).
Apartment was well kitted out. Some staff were very good. Location was very good. Food in restaurant was very good. Overall, would recommend but with reservations.
A quirky and stylish interior. Friendly and helpful staff.A lovely refurbished top floor apartment style room. Very good breakfast. Excellent location.
love the quirkiness if the place and the live music was excellent....oh and the breakfast....yep and the evening meal we had....really can't fault it.
the location , the food in the restaurant and the breakfasts
were all very good.. The room was spacious and very quirky. Good value for money.
Superb location for the town centre and Conference/Exhibition Centre.
Old world charm. Excellent food. Friendly management and staff. Parking.
the facilities where fantastic, staff where v helpful and v friendly. the apt we stayed in was exceptional and would highly recommend room 20.
Found it very relaxing, staff were excellent, so much so that you forgot they were "working" whilst we were relaxing. Beds very comfortable.
Quirky place, slightly eccentric bedroom like being in a French hotel.
Didn't get to eat in the restaurant but ambiance there was good.
Great location, friendly staff. Room was spacious and tidy. Had a good nights sleep and a lovely breakfast the following morning.
Friendly helpfull staff. Lovely suite (19). Excellent breakfast and dinner. Lamb beautifull! Definately recommend this hotel.
Staff were very attentive and friendly and the food was excellent along
with the location. Rooms were comfortable and clean.
We liked everything. Lovely hotel, very welcoming staff. The room was
perfect and the location was spot on. We will return.
Atmosphere and friendly staff
Elegant rooms
Good food especially breakfast
Everywhere within walking distance
Car parking.
That it is quirky.
Friendly staff
Small and intimate.
Close to countryside. Very central.
Could turn the heating off.
Friendly attentive staff, quirky decor, excellent meals - we dined in more than once which was not our original plan.
Good location near to shops and town centre.
Staff couldn't have been more helpful
Cooked breakfast was excelrent.
I really liked the decor and the rooms were of a good size. The staff were extremly friendly and very welcoming.
This hotel is very different to your normal hotel. Based on a French Moulin Rouge theme. The food was excellent.
The whole experience was perfect. A quirky, clean very comfortable hotel with excellent service and great food.
Everthing in Hotel was excellent. Staff very friendly. Position of hotel to visit Harrogate centre was good.
Single bed apartment was amazing, excellently laid out and full of quality. Staff were fabulously helpfull.
Extremely convenient, friendly staff, good food, good beer comfortable good sized room. Breakfast sublime.
Good food and friendly atmosphere. Staff polite and keen to help when asked. Easy access to town centre.
Very quirky decor.Excellent location but had a little trouble finding the car park.Fantastic breakfast.
excellant friendly staff and management, loved the foof and jazz evening, breakfast to die for.
Fab location, good parking, realy nice breakfast. lovely surroundings in hotel. Was impressed.
The ambience. The friendliness and hospitality of the staff. The food and the entertainment.
Its a quirky small hotel but very friendly and very close to all attractions in Harrogate.
Loved the hotel will definitely stay again again.breakfast was fab as was the apartment.
very friendly and helpfull staff quite a very special place and ekstra + was Jazz music.
Nothing to not like.
Bed was comfy but as we had a lovely big room we would have preferred a larger one. Didn't spoil the trip though.
Our room was underneath the kitchen and office. The footsteps started at
0630 and went on till 12midnight.
Staff very understanding about this and gave us compensation.
Doorhandles in hotel toilets very difficult to open if you have a problem with your hands as big round handles.Almost got stuck in there.
The food was fantastic except for one thing... that was the 30 - 40 day hung steak. That wasn't to our liking and my husband couldn't eat it. It was too well hung for his taste and he loves his steak. However, we do appreciate that some people like their steak like that. The rest of the food was great. The sea bass was the best we'd ever had!.
Wifi was extremely erratic - almost unusable really.
Nothing.
Parking was tight , however the staff were more than willing to move the cars if obstructing other cars.
we had to move rooms due to a broken bed but it was all sorted out very quickly, other than that everything was fine.
Main road traffic was a little intrusive late at night and early in the morning.
Nothing.
Stairs, to be expected in such a lovely old building. though we were offered help to carry our cases.
Stairs were a bit daunting. you need to be fit to stay here but staff helped with my suitcase.
Squeeky floorboards in bathroom, but that was of no consequence.
Would have liked a walk in shower as well as bath but no real problem.
Some staff in restaurant were a little irritable (not so much with us as with other customers, but doesn't give the best impression) and a tad patronising.
we did not like the shower in the bath as the water went all over the bathroom floor.
nothing that we we could find fault with.
Bit noisy from the restaurant, could have been a bit cleaner and the
carpet a little weary.
Wardrobe not tall enough to hand a dress or coat.
Shower was hit and miss with the temperature and was quite difficult to
get it right, one minute freezing and the next boiling hot.
I'm glad we didn't take our car. We did hear few grumbles about
parking. But for ourselves no complaints.
It can be noisy but then again you are right in the heart of the town
If we had wanted quiet we would have chosen to stay out on the Moors.
Single glazed windows so noisy because of traffic especially when the bin men came to collect bottles on Monday early in the morning.
Friends in room over the bar found it noisy because of base notes but good that the music stopped early ish.
Minor car parking problems.
Car parking a bit limited
We were out of the hotel in a room across the road.
Nothing I can think of.
Noise from Trotters bar until early hours of the morning. very disturbing.
WiFi not very good but we were on a relaxing break so no real problem.
Room too warm.
nothing, once we managed to park.
Only critisism would have prefered a bigger firmer bed. Although what we had was obviously of a very high standard.
The ugly building across the road.
Nothing!.
The pictures in the room of people starring at us.
Breakfast waiter in the weekend was a rearly bully, didn't like feamale single travellers.
