  The Hotel is spotlessly clean. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. It is very close to the city center with lots of bars and restaurants on the way in. I would recommend The Mercat Gastropub for the tastiest food and drink and very friendly staff. The Hotel breakfast is superb and will definitely set you up for a day of site seeing. The breakfasts were great and they even made other guest's meals that weren't even on the menu!! They both work really hard and long hours and always have a smile on their faces. They made the start of our trip to Edinburgh.
