The location for Edinburgh city centre was perfect, the bus stop wasright outside the hotel and took 5 minutes at the most to get you intothe centre, much quicker than by car. She went beyond expectations for helping us w airline details, reservations, information, etc. She happily got up very early to provide a lovely continental breakfast for 2 of us w early flights. The tea and full breakfast were sumptious and delicious. Rooms smallish but well appointed. General decor, landscaping, etc were lovely!

It was a walkable distance from Edinburgh city centre. However I recommend taking a taxi from the train station so you don't have to walk with lots of bags. We found it very comfortable and kitchen well equipped. -

The welcome was warm, the room was clean and had all the attributes of a 4* hotel, plus some. A warm comfortable bed and the room was very quiet, I probably had the best sleep for weeks. The breakfast good as you get at any 4* hotel I have stayed in up and down the country. A Great B&B, and a warm welcome to boot. I will be seeing all again soon I hope. We stayed at Dunstane city hotel during our business visit to Edinburgh University. Hotel is located in very quiet area and at the same time is in walking distance from city center. Rooms are very comfortable, warm and clean. Staff is very friendly. Hotel offers full Scottish breakfast free of charge, evening meals is delicious and not expensive.

The family room of 5! So few hotels have this facility. Car parking was available and staff were great with allowing us to leave it there even after we had checked out. Very friendly staff. Wonderful cooked breakfast.
