This was my third stay at the Varsity and I can't wait to go back. Great location in the heart of Cambridge. Comfortable rooms with individual character that you don't find in chain hotels. Above all, I was impressed by the staff - attentive to the needs of customers and I experienced three clear examples of staff members going the extra mile to help the customer get what he required .

We really enjoyed the cooked breakfast but the continental table didn't have much on it. - Excellent leisure facilities-lovely pool -Room service real haute cuisine-felt like a filmstar! Staff brilliant-i lost an earring and rang themnext day-they had found it and posted it on to me thanks richard forgoing the extra mile!!

though on busy road was not aware of loud traffrick passing by. Friendly
Cypriot family-run old house with ongoing improvements. All basic
requirements available for short visits to Cambridge. Clean
bedroom/bathroom and very pleasant dining area for good varied

The room I ended up with is fabulous - big, lots of storage, huge flatscreen tv, and a terrace outside just for the couple of rooms which open onto it. This is in the new wing which has been refurbished to a very high standard. The owners are fantastic and can't do enough to make your stay as comfortable as they can.
