Perfect stay. I booked this hotel as I had read no bad reviews and Im
glad I did!! The staff were friendly, the bed was comfy, the view was
lovely too! The piece de resistance was definitely the breakfast hamper
- it was huge and delicious. The carrot cake muffins were divine! There
was a real range of breakfast items: croissants, toast, muffin, fresh
fruit, juices, yogurt, cereal etc. And it is served in your room at a
pre-arranged time so you can eat in privacy! Id stay there again in a
heart. wszystkie opinie »
Location was fantastic the owners were really helpful and accomodating, the best bit had to be the breakfast hamper, filled full of goodies and something different to a greasy fry up, plus you didn't have to get dressed and you could eat it in your own time, we had the top floor room with sea views and was lovely to sit eating breakfast looking out to sea, would book again.
The staff were very friendly and I felt very at home and that I could come and go as I pleased. Although the room was quite small, the bed was very comfortable and had everything I needed. I have to say the breakfast was fantastic. It came in a basket delivered to my door and was wonderful.
I work in Brighton regularly and have stayed in a lot of B&Bs in the city. This is without doubt one of the best in this budget range. I loved the breakfast delivered to my room - fresh croissant, fruit salad, a choice of cereals and a muffin (which I kept for elevenses!).
We have a seaview top floor room, which is fabulous! The bed is so comfort. The best thing with Five is the breakfast, best ever during our trips. It dilevere to our room in the morning, so we can enjoy the morning seaview with great breakfast.
The breakfast hamper was excellent and the location was great for popping backwards and forward to town. The bed was really comfy as well.
Lovely comfortable bed, window shutters to block out light. Continental breakfast very tastefully presented in hampers. Will stay again.
Breakfast brought to your room with great selection of food.
Great location with local real ale pub and restaurants very close.
The breakfast Hamper was lovely a great idea with something for all tastes and the staff are so welcoming.
Great location, about a minute from the beach & bus stop to Newhaven ferry terminal.
Nice and cosy.. perfect location!
We liked it very very much!
Defenitely raccomanded!.
breakfast delivered to room, friendly staff, cleanliness of rooms.
breakfast delivered to room - excellent choice, and lots of it.
The comfortable rooms
Breakfast hamper was great.
The room was comfortable and clean, the staff made a good effort both
informative and friendly, the breakfast was of good quality and
quantity. There was a folder of events and places to see that was up to
date and relevant for tourists. There was also a dvd selection to choose
from that was free of charge and relatively up to date.
The location was nice. Breakfast was good and delivered to room. Room was well appointed and clean, it was very quiet.
Location.
lots of stairs if you have walking difficulties, not us personally thinking more about people like my parents.
The bathroom was very compact and not much room to move, but was clean and had all the facilities I needed.
It's an old building with no lift - this wasn't a problem for me, but might be for some.
The only problem is the shower. It will be perfect if the shower pressure is big enough.
The place was obviously well cleaned but just was a bit grubby around things like the light switches and the door handles which was a bit disappointing in an otherwise excellent standard. Perhaps a coat of paint during the winter?.
Very windy outside so window rattled all night.
I could really have done with a double bed,not used to sleeping in a single & the twin beds were a bit small for me.
The breakfast..
nothing.
nothing.
Having to leave so soon.
The room was a little small and cramped for a double room, there was no
wardrobe to speak of and the facilities were a little basic although
functional.
The lock on the door was very flimsy and cheap, anyone could have just pushed their way into the room, not good security at all.
The bathroom was ok, shower looked a bit dirty and there were long black hairs in shower. The drain in the shower was very slow, so water would accumulate whilst taking a shower.
Building needs some refurb.
