Clean and McDonald even I almost never care for it. When you are hungry, you eat anything. Restaurant's menu looked great but wanted to just have a simple meal this time. The shuttle bus service was great-- cheap and very regular. It seemed
like everytime we were in the lobby, there was a bus out front waiting
for passengers. We took the Stansted Express into London 2 days in a row
and it was extremely easy. One night we got back to Stansted very late
and were pleased to discover the shuttle bus runs until 1 A.M., so we
had no trouble getting back to the hotel. The staff was very friendly.

The owner is a very kind person, very professional and with a fantastic sense of humour! The acomodation is perfect for its purpose, very calm place, clean, cosy and easy to use. What a pleasant surprise. We booked this hotel because it had an offer "Best deal" and needed an overnight stay at Stansted. Even though the hotel is ideally situated close to the airport and the M4 no noise could be heard. I was here to attend a wedding a few miles away and so none of your above categories fit at all so I had to pick a box and chose mountains as this is the most unsuitable.The staff were very helpful and although I arrived before official check in time I( was able to check in straightaway. It was a hot day but the air conditioning in the room worked perfectly.The helpful receptionist phoned for a taxi for me.

The Woodlands Lodge was a wonderful place to stay. Good access. Good parking. Lovely friendly staff. Beautifully clean and well decorated. Loads of space in the room. Great facilities. Terrific large bathroom. The most comfortable bed I have slept. In my opinion the Woodland Lodge is a five star.

Approx 6 mins away, pick up from airport, which was just to good to be true, Twin room is compact but has everything one needs for overnight stay, bed really comfy,location beautiful, rual countryside, thatched roof to main house, I would most definately recommend and definatley stay again.
