Phil Boutique is not fancy - just like all other surrounding hotels, yet for such inexpensive hotel it is clean, comfy and the staff are helpful and friendly. The hotel is approximate to all attractions within Patong beach; it's 3 mins walking distance from Bangla road, Patong's nightlife center, and is surrounded by everything you will need from supermarkets to restaurants and bars. The owners, both named Philippe and thus the name of the hotel, are two nice French gentlemen who were happy to.
wszystkie opinie » Excellent location, just 5 minutes to the Bangla Road, boiling with night life. When you go across the Bangla Road the beach is right in fort of you. Several massage places, choice of a variety of restaurants are all around. You will find many small counters along the road selling tickets to various entertainment and trips. You have to bargain to get a good price. The room has a reasonable size, clean and neat in design. There is no disturbing noise around. I enjoyed living in this hotel. Staff are pretty friendly and helpful~And the housekeeper cleaned our room every day. They also helped us with our luggage on the day we went to Karon Beach. One of the night-shift front desk agents was so kind to help me post the postcard because it was too late and we were leaving in the early morning. The street outside is very noisy, but the effect of soundproof of the room is quite excellent! Close to the Patong Beach and Jungceylon. We'll come back~. When we arrived in the taxi we were very central and there was loud music in some of the bars but when we got to the room it was very quiet and modern and comfortable. It was quite relaxing being somewhere with home comforts after staying on some of the smaller islands. Hotel was simple, clean, rooms are just big enough, location is excellent for shopping, bars, nightife and going to the beach.Staff is very friendly and helpfull. Staff organized taxi to the airport. No problems to bring friends to the rooms. the stuff were all very friendly and helpful day and night and i would like to say thank you very much to the young lady working night shift she was very very helpful and polite i cant remember her name i give all the stuff 10/10. This is a great hotel,i stayed for 3 weeks in april 2012 and was charged 800 baht per night,rooms were clean, had cable TV,free internet,double bed,stayed in room at back of hotel and was very quite, ,only 150 metres to bangla road 2 minute walk to shopping centre and about 500 metres from beach,no food facilities but didnt mind as hotel next door had meals available,this is a great value hotel and staff are very friendly. The Location is great, 3 mins from Bangla Road and 5 mins from Patong Beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Some say it's noisy at night, but when you close the windows, the outside loud music won't be disturbing. the location, close to everything, whithout being very noisy and the little place with chairs in front of the hotel on the street. Nothing is specific was bad really. Maybe the only thing was the shower plump, as they told me that the entire neighborhood sewage system is poorly designed, so whenever I had a shower the floor would flood with water. Simply I had to just lower the shower water a little and everything would be fine. There is no table lamp on the bedside table. I have the habit of reading before going to sleep. This was a real problem for me. Nevertheless, at the checkout time I pointed this issued to the manager. The manager was a very nice person, he was upset and told me if I had complained on the very first day he would have place a table lamp there. No complaints. Pool is unfortunaltly accessed thru the building next door. But the roof top pool has a nice view. Shower courtain is missing but not a big problem since daily cleaning. Windows are blocked by the neighbor building so no view if you would prefer. nothing. A bit noisy at night, as it's near Bangla road with all the clubs. The wifi was a bit unpredictable. Facilities in bathroom should be improved, the pipe is not working well, and they'd better add a curtain in the bathroom to seprate bath and toilet, all it's flooding everywhere. Nothing negative!. I cant say anything negative about this hotel. The pillow was hard and big, I had to put it away because it gave me headache and hurt my neck. Order the airport transfer from the hotel a day before instead of taking taxi because it's cheaper. The rooms are tiny, the shower/toilet is very small and offers almost no amenities. The photo's on the website are not a true reflection of the place. Noisy hallway. No amenities.
