I like the hotel staff's service the most. They are so welcoming and friendly. They can speak very fluent English and very helpful to recommend some local food. Hotel Magic is run by the people at Hotel Krone who are extremely nice and have an excellent breakfast spread. Second time I've stayed at Magic. Kind of fun even though some of the rooms don't have the greatest view, however some are great. Clean and private.Overall 8.5/10. - Very individual hotel and great location to see everything in Luzern!

The location is just brilliant: a nice pedestrian square just a short walk away from the train station and within walking distance from all the main activities in the city.
The room was not too big but comfortable, with complimentary coffee and tea.
The toilet is actually nice and modern.

Right in the heart of the Luzern's Old town, great atmosphere and so convenient for sightseeing and shopping. Approx 10 minutes walk from the railway station. The Bistro on the ground floor although separate from the hotel but in the same group had a good menu and reasonable prices.

The hotel facilities and staff were wonderful especially for a romantic getaway for two. The hotel was not too far from the main train station so it was in a convienent location in the center of the action. While the price was expensive by US standards, it was reasonable for Lucrern and Europe in general. I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel

Staff were friendly and the location was fantastic. Walking distance from the train station, right across from tourist information center, and walking distance to all of the sights of Lucerne. Plenty of good restaurant nearby. Rooftop bar at the adjacent Monopol hotel is a must for cocktail (great view!).
We plan to stay here again.

Having stayed at the hotel previously and arriving very late in the evening the night porter was very efficient and the need to register on arrival was not necessary as details were available from the last visit. The hotel is clean and very hospitable and I would recommend it and will certainly return to the hotel next time I vist Lucerne. - Good

I've stayed at five star hotels that dont do what this lovely charming hotel do, made me feel special and cared for from the first hello. From the cleaners, to waiters to managers all had a superb attitutude. My room had all I need and more, nice little touches and so affordable. The included breakfast is outstanding, Ill be back for sure. Romantic
