Great views from the hotel, and the staff very helpful esp the older man who brought us all the things missing from the room,eg hand towels,bathmat and glasses. Also was helpful, taking us by tuk tuk to the tea factory and the station for very reasonable price. Great view over the city and lake. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. Staff are very friendly. A little bit far from main road, but it is great place for relaxation.
wszystkie opinie » Amazing view of a waterfall and the quaint town down the hill. Great weather compared to the rest of Sri Lanka. Good location if visiting the tea plantations. Helpful staff who even ensured we got on the right bus after we had left the hotel. The room was good with a kettle and tea-making facilities. view over the city early breakfast package for early morning trip short way to the city centre (10min by foot). Very helpful and friendly staff. Hotel is well situated, there was a beautiful view from our room!. Really nice view and reasonable price, if you want to sleep in a clean and not very cheap hotel. Very nice large, comfortable and clean room. Excellent vista looking out over the town. A nice waterfall seen from the room, mountins and terraces. the location. Nothing. Dining room a bit bleak and food Ok but not especially good, esp the popadoms and chicken portion. Their breakfast is very poor. The food was really bad. The food was only mediocre and although there was a television there were no channels in English so disingenous to claim on an English web site there was television when in fact it onoly served local people. We had to wait for a while to have enough hot water for two people to take shower but it was not such a big problem. We were waiting for 1,5 hour for food, which is terrible. It seems that they deliver it from the town or another hotel. VERY steep road leading up to the hotel - not really suitable for walking to/from town centre. Staff struggled to get food orders right - they didn't seem to understand their own menu. Muslim run (I think) so no alcohol available. The toilet layout and no heating facilities. We had ordered a triple room, but only one bed in the room. Also, no balcony, as promised. Though many did have balconies, mine didn't. It said it would in the add, so you may need to double check directly with the hotel. Its not value for money as room fare was very high (150 USD). I haven't found any wifi for one whole day. food quality is poor and lack variations. The staffs are very helpful but the hotel really need to work with its facilities to claim it as a 3 star. The breakfast was not good. They made it early in the morning and when the guests came they put the food in the microwave. We were served french fries in het morning. The staff in the restaurant was friendly. The staff at the reception was less friendly and we were not sure if he understood us. Location is a trap for the unwary in regard to transport if you rely on the hotel finding transport the price is much higher Shopping for warm clothes is more expensive and watch for factory seconds!. Pretty cold inside of the rooms, the staff is friendly but not very ambitious. The furniture is old fashioned and the entire hotel needs some renovation, so prices are a bit overrated. It's not recommendable to eat in the hotel,there are better options in the city. Very cold (+15c): no air conditioning in the room. A very dangerous and unpleasant road way up in a misty night. A weak warmer costs 500 rupies. A very poor breakfast though politely served. if we need any Facilities we should pay for it, even the heater for the room, wifi, and the tap water was dirty not clear. rooms aren't clean, with moquette. They are kind, but food & breakfast terrible.
