Location was convenient for our purposes. Parking in the underground area turned out actually to be convenient for car access since it was a simple elevator ride from our floor to the car. The reception staff were friendly and knew enough English to help us. Comfortable. Quiet for being in the city - no sirens, horns and little traffic noise. -

It was a good, clean appartment with good facilities. The air conditioning was very good and it was very close to local amenities and the metro. The staff were extremely helpful and kind, especially helping me to find places I wanted to visit in the city on the map they provided. -

The hotel is located in the center of the city only a short two blocks from the Sol Metro station. We could walk to the major areas of interest and the Atocha train station (cab with luggage). A taxi from the area of the Prado took us to this airport area hotel, the Axor Feria, a sister to its more elegant sister hotel right next door. Taxi cost was 23.35 euro (we had two carryons and two back packs). Be aware it’s a long drive, more so with heavy commute traffic so allow time.

This hotel was located very near the airport and has a great shuttle
service. Also a 5 minute walk and you are at a bus stop that takes you
to the metro station. The rooms were very clean, the hotel smelled
wonderful and the breakfast was good. We stayed there our 1st night in
Madrid and booked it again for our last 2 nights in Madrid. Our son
stayed our late one night and it's about a 20 euro taxi ride from
downtown Madrid to the hotel.
