Althought there is a bar just outside the hotel, where you can eat some cheap tapas, the 8rooms is very quite and comfortable. the staff is excelent, the lady that cleans is a hard working person and the receptionist is always smiling and willing to help.   It was perfect stay. Apartment is centrally located (easy to reach historic centre and all 3 museums), it is very spacious and well-furnitured with intersting design. Staff was friendly - they called us in the morning on the arrival day and met at the apartment building.   I am so glad to say that everything about this central accomodation is absolutely perfect! My girlfriend and I arrived on a Thursday evening by Metro, and after some time fumbling around in the Gran Via area we found this gate (number 50) right next to Geox shoe store. It is on the 5th floor but don't worry because they do have an elevator. The place was recently renovated so everything is new, modern, and beautifully decorated w/TV and nice quiet a/C. Even though it is on a very busy main street, my room #12 was quiet because it faced into a courtyard. Wi-Fi was free and worked great. The location could not be better. I could walk to Sol, Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace and gardens, Plaza Espagna, and the Opera house. The
