  The best possible location at a great price. 2 short blocks away from Plaza del Sol square and metro station. The street is very busy day and night and, although the room had two double-glazed windows, some noise could still be heard. Very clean, small bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. Excellent budget hostel. - Excellent location - just two steps from Arenal street and two minutes from Sol. Nevertheless very quiet. The room is small, but very clear. English-speaking and helpful staff. Great value for money, good choice for the city visit.

  I spent three week in hostel Estrella and I was really satisfied. The hostel was very clean and landlady was really nice lady. She don't speak english but she always try to help you. Hostel have the best location. Is next to Grad via and Plaza de Espana. If you want to party in the night you will love it the location. So don't worry about y - This place is truly Home away from Home. The lady who runs the place is so nice, very friendly and keeps the place immaculate. The rooms with shower are nice and spacious with moder decor and the single room without shower where I was staying is very comfortable with fridge and microwave. The commune shower room is private and always kept very clean. I definitely recommend this place for single traveler or a couple who is looking for a great location stay with a comfort of luxury hotel under bu

  A great place to stay for a visit to Madrid. Absolutely the perfect location. So close to Malasaña yet only 10-15mins walk from Sol. Stone's throw from Callao, and the metro to take you right to Retiro. The nicest staff I think I've ever met in a hotel. We were in a separate room 2 floors up from the hotel, which was really nice. The f - The hostal is just 2-3 minutes walking distance from the center of the city. The staff was speaking english and they were very friendly (they even called for us to book a flamengo night as we don't speak spanish).They offered us free coffee and cookies every day.They kept ur luggages safe and secure in the room for hours after the check out without paying anything. I strongly recommend this hostal if you want an economic,friendly,nice decorated place to stay in Madrid!

  We were welcomed by Spanish ladies who only spoke spanish. My spanish lessons were put to the test. (Word of advice: ask for wifi asap so that you could use an app for translating languages). For the price we paid, I consider the bathroom/toilettes sanitary. Our twin room with balcony is well presented.   Very good information about the apartement and good service of the staff. Staff on site does not speak english but reception that was called on the phone does speak english. Very quiet studio in the back courtyard. Shopping groveries, banking etc. directly in front the studio. Free service to leave baggage with reception at Plaza Mayor was offered... co mówią ludzie » , however we did not use it because at Atocha train station you can leave luggage for a small charge, it is more close. - Good location, 2 main to metro, 5 main to Atocha and 15 main to Prado.
