  The location is excellent, near Rambla. The beds were comfortable, the Wi-Fi works all the time, the breakfast was very good for the money- 3,5 euro/person. The staff is very friendly and efficient.   It looks clean and comfortable . the back rooms are quiet but not have open view. Bathroom looks clean . the host is kind and give enough information in english . The room was small (typical for Spain), but with a high ceiling it didn't feel too claustrophobic. Good value with all the basics, plus a few extra amenities, like balcony and hair dryer. A/c worked well, which was crucial in mid-July.

  Central location is perfect for walking all over town. It is right by Placa Catalyna where the buses from the airport arrive and metro station as well as trains out of Barca. Our second stay we were given room 202 which is a double with on-suite bath and a balcony onto main street. People watching was great fun. If you want uber posh it's not for you. - The staff was generally friendly/helpful. The Day staff are more english helpful/friendly, the night staff generally doesn't know anything other than Spanish & a lot stricter, but was the same at all my friends hostels anyways. Good price & great location. Was very quiet as needed too.
