For a family with young children, the set-up was perfect: children in their own room with bunk beds, parents in a separate double room downstairs. There was a very comfortable lounge, and all necessary facilities for self-catering. The location was amazing, and the arrangements for meeting up with staff worked very smoothly. Great!

The Gothic Quarter, La Rambla, Modernista Barcelona with the Gaudi masterpieces and Joan Miro art, the plazas and markets, Roman ruins, the parks, waterfront and mountains, all very accessible with the excellent metro system and fantastic tourist bus made our 5 day trip one of the most interesting holidays I have ever had. The transfer to and from the airport was easy and cheap as the hotel is directly opposite a RENFE station. Hotel spotless with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Inclusion of a very substantial breakfast made the booking even better value.

Breakfast (served until 11.30am) was an enormously varied buffet, with cold meats and cheese, cereals, yoghurt, fruits, hot bacon, sausages, tomatoes, eggs and mushrooms. Lots of different breads, juices, teas and coffees. Great value and just what you need before a days sightseeing. Our room was small but well planned, clean and comfortable. The staff was super helpful. Always available to help us plan our stay. They assisted us to make reservations, made all arrangements when we had troubles with our bookings. Always a smile and ready to help.
El Born was the perfect neighborhood for us to visit the city. Very typical, lots of shopping and small restaurants.

The staff at the hotel (where you check-in) were fantastic. From the
moment we arrived taking us through a map of the city and when we needed
help booking tickets, taxi etc. The apartment building doesn't look
as great from the outside as the hotel but we were very impressed when
we got inside. Great size, actually big enough for 4, very well equipped
and wonderful location. We would definitely recommend.

Out stay was very short as our train into Barelona was three hours late, along with some other travel problems, so we really only slept in the beds and used the shower, we would of loved to have had more time as we really liked the view and the balcony, unfurtunately our stay turnede out to be for only a few hours, it was nice though we both slept
