Clean, comfortable, well kitted out rooms in a great area of Cape Town. Easy walk to the waterfront. Very accommodating given I was unwell during my stay. Free parking right outside. Excellent value for money.

Honestly say this is one of the best if not the best hotel I haver stayed in.
Staff amazing, cinema for the kids, lazy leopard bar for great cocktails food and views, best hotel breakfast I have ever had and rooms to die for. Just amazing -

We were welcomed with a traditional South African braii - barbecue! How much better can you get to meet everyone and get comfortable with the Cape Town groove?! We loved the staff - from the owner to the housekeepers - they really took good care of us while allowing us to still enjoy the "backpacker-style" of lodging. They helped us plan our days to use our time and $$ so we could get to do all the things we hoped to enjoy in our 5 nights stay. The Dave Matthews Band concert brought us 8,000

We like the location, which makes it easy to get around in Cape Town. Rose Lodge is also in a historic quarter of the city, with fascinating places to visit and explore. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful, ready to advise and to provide whatever is needed. -

As there were no other bookings in the main house Elisabeth the owner upgraded us to one of the better rooms upstairs and we had the whole house to ourselves. The house is beautifully decorated and great for a group as its self catering. Its a 2 minute walk from the bars, restaurants and beach in Camps Bays yet set far enough back to get great view

The manager who went out of his way to make our stay more comfortable by providing an extra room. The hotel is full of character and beautiful - rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything you could need including bottled water. The breakfast was full of variety and delicious. And of course the lovely friendly dogs. -

There are also a number of restaurants/bars closer to the guest house if you didn't want to go further afield every night. I would happily visit again.

Perfect stay for my recent business trip. Secure and easy access to come and go as I please and a perfect location for a early morning jog before a delicious breakfast. It was very clean and the location was safe. The staff was very friendly and helpful. More luxury than you might expect from a bed & breakfast (guest house). Really charming. We slept very good. (I would ask for a room which is not next to the breakfast area.) Overall we would come back!
