Neighborhood/location is quiet and seemingly safe.
This guesthouse is not for those who are for fancy accommodation. This is for those with shoestring budget. Generally, it is fair to say that the location is good (near the airport, you wont be caught in traffic jams), staff are accommodating. Have internet access. Staff were helpful and kind. It was also cheap.
Cheap, wifi worked in my room.
Looks like they don't stock breakfast food on non-peak season. Was stuck with corned beef for breakfast for days. Same goes with snacks. So if I were you, bring food with you or eat heavy before going there to retire for the night.
If most of your activities are in Cebu City and you are quite mindful of the third-world travel experience in the Philippines, this hotel might not be for you.
No menu for breakfast.
Only one toilet / shower with broken sink tap. It also seems to be located in quite a dark scary location.
No windows in our room, not allowed to use AC without paying more for it.

Tell the driver of the taxi: "tita gwapa of barangay Opao, Mandaue". Few metres from Tita Gwapa to Opao, turn left to San Jose Village. Before you reach the basketball court, you will see at the corner a white house and brown gate with B1 L23 on it.
