  After 10 days of Oslo, Bergen, Alesund and the fjords, what a pleasure to find this lovely place. Direct return to nature at its best. Very large room, three windows, no curtains ( wake up early or bring a mask ). Simple breakfast, no dinner unless ordered in advance. The style Is super simple, raw. Just nice ! - The owner & staff are wonderful and very interesting. Great conversation with them & with other guests. The setting is spectacular, in a quiet way. Because it is small and a little hard to find, you won't find roaming busloads of tourists. The facilities are simple, not luxurious - but very comfortable and perfect for the environment.

  Truly baby-friendly hotel. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Centrally located in the city - easy access to the quayside and town. Rooms are excellent. Some of the ones on the top floor have a good view over the fjord. Good library for the avid reader - including English books, a rarity in Norwegian hotels.   We left an expensive souvenir in the room and when I called them they found it and sent it to us. Nice hotel in the centre of the city, nice pub restaurant in the same building. - Great central location just a short walk from both harbour and bus station. Free hot drinks available.
